Our song choice

The final song choice• It wasn’t easy but we decided that our final song

choice will be ‘Fell Apart’ By Krept and Konan. We felt that the emotion in the song would be good to get to our audience and create an effect on the audience.

Our Video

• Unfortunately there is not a video for the original of the song yet. This will make it harder to create our video because we have nothing to try and replicate or follow.

• On the other hand though, it is a good thing there isn’t a video yet because it means we can be original and unique. It also means it is less likely for our video to be ‘wrong’ as it can’t be compared to the original.

Setting • We have decided to use a urban setting in our video.

We want there to be an urban area outdoors with Graffiti like at a skate park or alleyways.

• We want our setting to have views of skyscrapers, with lights and a river. An open space in our setting will also help to capture emotion.

Location • We have come up with quite a few different locations for our music video.

We plan to visit Southbank skate park, back alleys in Soho, Leake street tunnel. These places have the graffiti and skate parks that would make our video urban. Westminster Bridge may be good for the river also.

• At the end of the video when the mood picks up we wanted to use a less urban location. We may want to use a central London or west-end location as that represents a different class and more of better life.

Costume • We will have 4 costume changes but because the artist is a

duo there will be 2 costume changes for each artist. The first costume will represent when the artists where at low points with urban clothing.

• The second costume change shows there successes. They now wear better types of clothing and props which represent their success such as gold watches, maybe chains, etc.

This will be the kind of clothing we end the video with (jewelry, watches, etc.)

This will be the type of cheaper urban clothing the video will start with.

Concept • The concept of our music video is the transition of failure to

success. The video will begin looking at their hard times before and at the start of their career and how low they where. The end of the video and at the end of each verse, we will see the successes in their life and a more positive side to the song.
