The New Year at BethesdaThe new K.O. Lee Adult Day Health Center is experiencing many first time events and

our first member/participant arrived in November of 2014. Helen (86) attends the

Adult Day Health Center one day each week and enjoys singing, painting, mealtime, snacks

and hugs.

Elaine (95) is a resident at Bethesda Towne Square Assisted Living and was the first resident to utilize the new warm water

therapy pool.

For the first time, all of Bethesda’s program’s celebrated Christmas at the new Adult Day

Health Center. Over 500 residents and guests enjoyed wonderful food, fellowship

and festivities!

New Projects for 2015

The new Comfort Cross Project at Bethesda will offer hand held crosses to those residents that are entering hospice and palliative care. These crosses will be distributedby our Chaplain and will offer comfort, caring and support for residents and their families.

Spiritual Care

Transpor tation As Bethesda grows and continues to provide a comprehensive continuum of exceptional care, practical needs like transportation become a priority. Many of our residents have transportation needs and the ability to provide safe and reliable transportation services is so important. This accessible van/bus is the #1 priority for our fundraising in 2015.

Children’s PlaygroundEquipment

The Sharing Center Child Daycare and Pre-school is a special place here at Bethesda. The children and familiesat the Sharing Center choose Bethesda for many reasons,and one of those reasons is the

unique intergenerational activities with our residents. The energy and smiles that our children bring are such wonderful gifts. Playground equipment is a priority need for the Sharing Center this year.
