The target audience

• Cutting-edge young audience• Increasing audience potential• Strong 16-34 demographic reach• Viewers are image conscious and

commercially receptive

The budget

• Research states that E4 have been able to up their budget by Channel 4 to £60m (an increase of £20m)

• Because of this we feel that E4 is an appropriate channel to pitch our brand-new soap to.

The sub-genre

• Drama soap “Hybrid”

• Social realist plots to be more enjoyable.

Our video project

• Intercutting between footage made for the trailer and episode footage

• Rival groups walk towards each other and meet in what will become ‘iconic’ location

• Preview of plot points from the narrative• fast-paced, stylistic and dramatic yet

somewhat comical.

Our print project

• Will draw upon ideas for 3 main plot points

• Each poster will feature a ‘vs/split’ layout

• Individual poster design will vary

Next steps…

• Location recce’s at The Royal Holloway• Casting• Finding a communal location• Mise en Scene (uniform etc.)• Permission to film on grounds.
