It has an enviablerecord of combat-proven service in Iraq and Afghanistanwith the Australian and Dutch Armies, transporting troopsand equipment on the battlefield.
• Combat ready, combat proven• Built to move troops and equipment long distances• Off-road capabilities and four-wheel independent suspension• Modular design allows for multiple uses with the same
support requirements• Provides solutions for multiple Protected Vehicle Programs
The integrated V-shaped armored hull deflects blasts underthe vehicle, and protection is also provided for side blastsfrom improvised and roadside explosive devices.
Bushmaster’s fuel and hydraulic tanks are positioned outsidethe crew compartment, ensuring protection against possiblefires from blasts or ballistic attack. A central tire inflationsystem allows tire pressure to match varying terrain andfeatures a run-flat option.
• Air, rail, sea, and truck transportable• Capable of traversing a 60 percent gradient and a 30
percent side slope with maximum cross-country load• Travels at 65 mph on paved surfaces • Cruising range of 500 miles
The Bushmaster has the ability to be fielded quickly and providesa chassis and components commonality that can solve currentU.S. mobility and protection issues for various programs. It iscombat proven, durability tested and available today. It is offered by Oshkosh with reliable global logistics support capabilities.Oshkosh has existing production capacity to immediately buildand deliver protected vehicles such as the Bushmaster.
