Dear Friends,Welcome to Orange County, New York!
In the following pages, you will learn about Orange County and all it has to offer, including its proximity to New York City, incredible infrastructure, extraordinary inventory of commercial land and real estate, highly knowledgeable workforce and abundance of cultural and recreational offerings.
The Orange County Partnership is a private not-for-profit office of economic development that serves as the external marketing agency for business development in Orange County. The Partnership’s team of economic development professionals works with commercial real estate brokers, developers, site selection firms and regional and statewide economic development agencies to find the most advantageous and cost-effective locations for corporate attractions and expansions.
From site selection to financing options, employment training, market research and technical assistance, the Orange County Partnership is your cost-free resource for economic development support.
Under the leadership of County Executive Edward Diana, we have remained proactive by promoting a business-friendly environment, facilitating the application and permitting process and providing financial incentives needed to attract and expand business.
Quality education and outstanding healthcare are synonymous with Orange County. The United States Military Academy at West Point and three liberal arts colleges help prepare a new generation for success in the 21st century. In 2011, history was made when the new Orange Regional Medical Center opened its doors, making it the first new hospital in New York State in more than 20 years.
Orange County boasts some of the best known, most visited sites outside of Manhattan. The United States Military Academy at West Point, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets and Orange County Choppers are international destinations that bring more than 4 million tourists to the county each year.
We work together to strengthen our community and our economy, creating jobs in an atmosphere of unsurpassed quality of life.
Relocating or expanding? Ask how. Ask now.
Very truly yours,
Maureen Halahan President & CEO Orange County Partnership

Orange County’s infrastructure is superior among its competitors. With three major intersecting highways – Interstates 84, 86 (NY 17) and 87 – an international airport, 150 miles of freight and commuter rail, and the Hudson River, all of the county’s 812-mile land area is readily accessible by any mode of transportation.
One critical component of that framework is Stewart International Airport, which is poised for tremendous growth. In 2007, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey took over operation of Stewart and committed $500 million as part of a 10-year capital improvement plan for expansion. The Port Authority operates and maintains infrastructure critical to the New York/New Jersey region’s trade and trans-portation network which includes facilities at America’s busiest airport system and The Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan.
The airport also now benefits from a $120-million interchange project, opened in 2009, which provides a direct link between Interstates 84 and 87 as well as a direct connection to the airport.

LIFELONG LEARNING
In the century since we opened our doors, we’ve learned
a lot about healing. We know that a first-rate medical staff
makes a profound difference, so we offer only the best.
Then, we empower that staff with the industry’s most
advanced technology—a combination that brings you the
highest level of care.
But most important is why we do all this. Every decision
we make, every person here, is fueled by a true passion for
taking care of individuals—people like you, your family,
your friends and loved ones.
It’s a difference you’ll see, hear and feel in everything we do.
