class.

You have 3 different options. Choose only ONE topic.

Each topic has some issues (= parts & ingredients) you must develop in your oral presentation obligatorily.

Your teacher can correct the texts you prepare in advance.

Make sure you understand the criteria for the evaluation.

If you want to use a PPT, your teacher will check it obligatorily.

Describe a funny cartoon, comic strip or photograph

Comment on a (famous, emerging…) comedian

Issues:

- Describe his/her main projects (films, TV programs,…)

- Describe and analyse his/her abilities and humorous resources (= techniques) to make people laugh

- Justify your reasons to choose him/her

- Meaning & connotations

- Equivalent / parallelism in your cultural background

- Reasons to choose them

Tell a joke and give an account on it:

- Analyse the basis of its humour. Explain about its punchline, twist, …

- Explain about its cultural background and similarities with your culture.

- Justify your reasons to choose it.
