2 INSTALLATION

2.1 Installation on the camera

Removethefrontandrearcap.

MakesurethePLorPVmountonthelensandonthecameraareperfectlyclean.

Mountthelensonthecamera.

Installtheaccessoriesaroundthelens(mattebox,motors…).

Whenusingazoomorfocusmotormountedonrods,it’srecommendedtoinstall

thelensbracketwithastandardlenssupportunit.

2.2 Focus

Themechanicalflangeissetupat52mmintheairforperfectfocusatwideangle.

Ifneeded,flangecanbeadjusted(seeFlangeadjustment§5.2).

Thefocusmarksarecalibratedatambienttemperatureforoptimizedfocusatlong

focallength.

Thereisasmallshiftonthemarkswhenusingthelensatveryhighorlow

temperatures.

2 INSTALLATION

2.1 Installation sur camera

Retirezlescapuchonsavantetarrière.Assurezvousquelamonturedel’objectifetdelacamérasoientparfaitementpropres.Montezl’objectifsurlacaméra.Installezlesaccessoiresannexesàl’objectif(mattebox,moteurs,…)Quandvousutilisezunemotorisationsurlabaguedecommandefocaleoudemiseaupoint,ilestrecommandédemonterl’objectifsurpiedavecunsupportstandard.

2.2 Mise au point

Letiragemécaniqueestrégléà52mmpourunemiseaupointparfaiteàlacourtefocale.Sibesoin,letiragepeutêtrerepris(voir§5.2Réglagedutirage).

Lesgravuresdelamiseaupointsontcalibréesàtempératureambiantepourunréglageoptimiséàlalonguefocale.Ilexisteunlégerdécalagesurlesgravureslorsqu’onutlisel’objectifàdestempératurestrèshautesoutrèsbasses.

freeofstainanddust.Useanopticalcleaningsolutionandasofttissueto

removefingerprintsfromtheoptics.

3.2 Lubrication

Thezoom,focusandirismechanismarefactorylubricated.Ifthelenshasbeen

storedforalongtimeorwhenusedincoldenvironment,moveeachfunction

severaltimesbeforeusingthelens.

3.3 Moisture

Topreventhumiditygettinginsidethelens,protectthelenstokeepitdry.

3.4 Advance maintenance

Thecompletemaintenanceofsuchalensshouldonlybeperformedbyhighly

qualifiedpeopleorfactorytrainedtechnicians.

Pourunequalitéd’imagemaximale,vérifiezqueleslentillesavantsetarrièressoientpropresetsanspoussières.Utilisezunliquidedenettoyageappropriéauxoptiquesainsiqu’untissudouxpourenleverlesempreintesdedoigtssurleslentilles.

3.2 Graissage

Lesmécanismesdefocale,miseaupointetd’irissontlubrifiésenusine.Sil’objectifaétéstockélongtempsous’ilvaêtreutilisédanslefroid,manoeuvrezplusieursfoislesmécanismesavantusage.

3.3 Humidité

Pouréviterquel’objectifprennel’humidité,protégezleafindelegarderausec.

3.4 Maintenance avancée
