Rigid’s patented Hybrid, Specter and Hyperspot Optics capture the maximum amount of light rays emitted from the LED and utilize it in the forward projecting formulas that outshine the competition. Think of Rigid’s Optics as ‘tools’ and Rigid uses the right ‘tool’ to get the job done correctly. Would you use a flathead screwdriver for a Phillips head screw? Probably not.

Hybrid Technology Optics


Were designed specifically for the latest LED technology.

Combining both a lens and a reflector, they are extremely

efficient, collecting at least 93% of the available light and have

incredible control.

Hybrid Technology OpticsSpot Optic (10°distance beam)

The patented Spot Optic projects light in a concentrated beam. This optic is great for high speeds or any situation where you need long distance. Other than Rigid’s new Hyperspot Optic, it’s the most powerful spot-style LED optic available.Found in: E, D, SR, SR-Q®, SR-M®, Q, RDS, PAR46 + Marine Models

Flood Optic (25°wide beam)

The patented Flood Optic is perfect for spreading light over a large area. This great beam provides over twice the area coverage. It is a great option if you are looking for a good area light, but don’t need the power of a Specter Optic.

Hybrid ComboRigid’s E and SR Series lights give you the option of combining both the Flood and Spot Optics in one light. E and SR Series lights that are 6” or larger offer a Combo package which provide you with Flood Optics on the end of the bar and Spot Optics in the center of the bar. Enabling you to have both area light, as well as distance light.

Specter Technology

OpticsThis optic is a traditional reflector that breaks all concepts of reflector or lens efficiency and size constraints. They are

extremely efficient, have a very small footprint and produce a very smooth beam without facets,

which means more light in less space.

Specter Technology OpticsDriving Optics (45° spread horizontal, 20° vertical)

The patented Driving Optic will project light far, but also wide. It is an oval-shaped reflector that projects both spot and flood beam patterns at the same time. This optic creates an oblong beam pattern that maintains a bright center hot spot, as well as incredible horizontal spread.

Wide Optic (45° spread horizontal; widest pattern)

The patented Wide Optic projects a less concentrated beam to provide better visibility over a larger area; while reducing the amount of wasted light. Its scalloped design allows more light to spill to each side for a wider horizontal pattern of light.

Hyperspot Technology Optic

The Hyperspot Optic is an ultra-narrow, concentrated beam. Its patent pending aperture system blocks unused light for a clean beam. It has the highest intensity per watt or square inch on the market; projecting light further than anything on the market! It is the best optic anywhere for high speeds or any situation where you need extreme distance. Found in: E2, D2, SR2, SR-Q2, SR-M2, Q2 + Marine Models

Specter Combo

Our E2 and SR2 Series lights give you the option of combining both the Driving and Hyperspot Optics in one light. E2 and SR2 Series lights that are 10” or larger offer a Combo package which provide you with Driving Optics on the end of the bar and Hyperspot Optics in the center of the bar. With this combination, the E2 50” light bar is Rigid’s brightest bar available!


Rigid Industries’ Diffusion Lens

Rigid Industries’ diffusion lens offers the ultimate solution in area and scene lighting. Identifiable by its textured appearance, our diffusion lens was specifically engineered to project light at a 60°flood pattern and is made from optically clear, unbreakable polycarbonate plastic. Both the Hybrid Flood and Specter Driving Optics can be used with the Diffusion lens.


Rigid Industries’ Clarilux™ Optical System

Our new Clarilux optical system provides an ultra-smooth 4°tall x 45°wide light beam. It provides a wider, brighter and smoother beam pattern than has ever been available in a DOT and SAE compliant lighting system.
