In the lead up to Freshers’ Arrivals, we print and distribute 4000 cotton SUBU Fresher Bags into all of our halls of Residence ready for when our students move in. As one of the only ways to communicate directly into the flats, these bags offer an effective channel to introduce your brand into the student lifestyle.

SUBU Welcome Guide

EXCLUSIVE SOLE ADVERT - £750

As an introduction into the Students’ Union, the Welcome Guide is distributed to all Freshers’ by direct mail post in the ‘Welcome to BU’ pack which lands on doorsteps mid-August and is also available throughout both campuses. 7000 booklets are printed but there is limited space available to advertise.


FRESHERS

SUBU Freshers’ Fair At the end of the Freshers’ Arrivals period, SUBU presents its annual Freshers’ Fair, a free event which is held on the last weekend of September for all BU students. The 6 hour Saturday event is a vast exhibition including local and national businesses who understand the importance of the student market as well as live entertainment, sports demonstrations, clubs and societies sign ups and food and drink.

As sole organisers of the Fair, SUBU is able to offer prime ‘stall’ locations to over 100 commercial clients. A ‘stall’ includes a 6ft x 2ft tressle table, 2 chairs, complete marketing and data capture rights as well as the option to power and a back wall for added marketing presence. Prices of the stalls vary depending on your requirements but every stall provides an invaluable chance to communicate to over 5000 fresh faced Bournemouth students.
