Step 1: (Topic) Problem Analysis Identify the main ideas in your
topic.
Understand exactly what the question requires you to do.

what information is needed?
Practice: Identify the main ideas in the question, “Discuss the relationship between social inequalities and HIV/AIDS in South Africa?

Step 2: Keywords & Search Strategy
Use dictionaries, encyclopedias, class/lecture notes, textbooks & LIBRARIANS to:
identify and list the keywords relating to your main ideas.
Look for variant spellings.
Start your searches using these words.

Step 3: Search for Books & Journal Articles
Go to Library Home page at http://www.uj.ac.za/library
Search Author/title search for (a) Items on your reading list; (b) Books on a subject; (c) Journals

Evangelical Review of Theology, Oct2009, Vol. 33 Issue 4, p332-346, 15p; Abstract: The article focuses on the impact of migration on the multi-ethnic church that dominated the mission of the early church. The Jerusalem church is presented along with the multi-ethnic character of the church in Antioch. The very diverse community of the Phillipian church is discussed together with other Pauline churches. The crisis in Antioch involving circumcision is examined along with the role of the Jerusalem council in this crisis.
