OVERVIEW OF INCENTIVES APPLICATION
The purpose of this document is to serve as a user guide for the Online Application and present an
overview of the online application system explaining the concepts and functionality of the same.
Users are requested to visit www.apindustries.ap.gov.in for detailed policy documents and incentive
guidelines.
The Online incentive application portal facilitates the entrepreneurs to submit their application for
sanction of incentives.
Online Application system has many advantages over physical application submission such as:
Easy form submission and document upload
No physical copy of the documents required
One Common Application Form for all incentives
The system checks for any errors in the application and pops alert messages
The system has series of security procedures to prevent any un-intended user to access the
details
It can be submitted any time -24 hours a day, 7 days a week, before the closing date
It facilitates real-time tracking of the application status
It facilitates notifications in the form of emails/SMS on submission of application and at various
levels of processing
Department of Industries recommends the use of following browser specifications for the best view
of https://www.apindustries.gov.in/Incentives/Index.aspx website. One may still be able to use the
incentives website using other browsers and versions, but the pages may not display properly or the
users might face challenges in accessing certain functionalities
o Internet Explorer (version 8.0, 9.0, 10.0 and above)
o OPERATING SYSTEM
Windows XP with Service Pack 3/Windows 7/Windows 8/ Windows 10
Linux and Mac OS 10.10 (OS X Yosemite)
All applications submitted are presented for evaluation in the Committee meetings held at the District &
state level. The decision of the committee on the application is communicated to the applicant via
email/SMS/Dashboard.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
To apply for incentives, Entrepreneur may kindly go through the following instructions carefully.
1. Upon successful completion of Registration online, User ID and Password will be registered. You
can log-in only by selecting secure mode and signing with Digital Signature.
2. Entrepreneur must purchase Digital Signature component in order to claim incentives.
3. Each enterprise would require one Common Application Form (CAF). Entrepreneur will have to
apply by separate Common Application Form in case of enterprise expansion or diversification. If
incentives have already been applied for, some of the common fields will be pre-populated from
existing common application form and Single Desk Portal
4. Upload relevant mandatory documents as per Annexure-II.
5. Please ensure the details filled in the Common Application Form and incentives form matches
exactly with the documents uploaded
6. Applicants are required to verify the application details before submitting the online application.
They have an option to save the online application form, in case it is not to be submitted.
7. Once the online application form is submitted by the applicant, further modifications will not be
allowed. Hence, applicants are requested to check and validate the details before submitting the
online application form.
8. Once the online application form is submitted by the applicant. Application ID will be generated
automatically and same will be communicated to Entrepreneur via SMS, Email & Entrepreneur
Dashboard.
9. Applicants are requested to keep the application ID for tracking the application status.

ENTREPRENEUR CHECK LIST
Before applying for incentives, Entrepreneur may kindly go through the following checklist carefully.
1. Please check that the location of enterprise is not in the notified locations list.
2. Please check whether line of Activity is eligible or not as per Annexure I.
3. Please ensure that Composite industrial enterprises set up for manufacturing eligible and
restricted items are not eligible for incentives/concessions except when the proportion of
restricted items in the total production is less than 10% in value of the total turnover.
4. Check the enterprise DCP (Date of Commencement of Production). Please ensure that online
application is filled within 6 months of DCP. If the application is filled after 6 months but before
12 months, the enterprise would be eligible for only 50% of incentives under the policy. Post the
12 month period, the unit will not be eligible for any incentives.
5. Please ensure that following are approved by DIPC/SLC enterprise. Please upload relevant
documents in order to claim the incentives
a. Break in Production.
b. Change of Management.
c. Additional Line of Activity.
d. Mergers & Amalgamations.
e. Change of Location.
f. Change of Financial Institution.
g. Enterprise Purchased from other sources.
6. Ensure that 2nd hand machinery is not more than 25% of total machinery
7. Please ensure the criteria of 25% enhancement in investment and installed capacity/turnover
for the expansion projects is satisfied
8. Please furnish details of subsidies availed form State/Central Government
9. Please ensure that sale/lease deed is in the name of enterprise
10. Please ensure that financial institutions and GM-DIC have certified the machinery list as per the
guidelines
11. Please note that new integrated Steel Plants which produce Ingots, Steel Billets, Coils, Strips,
Slabs or Alloy Steels starting with iron ore / scrap and using the liquid metal produced to make
Billets, Coils, Strips, Slabs or Alloy Steels and any melting enterprises/Industries involved in part
production are eligible for all other incentives / benefits under IDP 2015-20 except power cost
reimbursement. However, manufacture of Sponge Iron and Pig Iron are eligible for
reimbursement of power cost including other incentives under IDP 2015-20. Integrated Steel

Plants set up with blast furnace/ induction furnace are eligible for other incentives except power
incentives. Whereas those set up with electric arc furnace are not eligible for incentives.
12. Please ensure that shareholding certificate of company is issued by a Charted Accountant
13. Please ensure the documents are authorized and Board Resolution is certified by a Company
Secretary

ONLINE APPLICATION MODULE
This section provides a high level understanding of the functionality of the online application module
with the help of appropriate screenshots.
REGISTRATION-GETTING STARTED
1. To access the online application module, log-on to the Andhra Pradesh Industries website
https://www.apindustries.gov.in/
2. Click on the “APPLY FOR INDUSTRIAL INCENTIVES” tab on the Home page of the Department of
Industries website.

3. If you are already registered in Industries Single Desk portal, you can use the same username
and password to apply Incentives. The same has been indicated as per the below screen shot.
4. Existing users will enter their PAN CARD NUMBER and password and click on the ‘Sign in’ button
to apply for Common Application Form.
5. As registration is a prerequisite to access the Online Application module, new users need to
register on the website by clicking on the “New Entrepreneur? Register now” icon as shown
below
6. On clicking the “New Entrepreneur? Register Now” button , system will display the registration
form to be filled-in by the user, as indicated in the screenshot below:

Note1: All the fields are mandatory to enter.
8. After all the above mentioned details are filled-in, enter the CAPTCH code displayed in the
image in declaration form.
9. Click on the ‘Cancel’ button to navigate back to the ‘Sign in‘screen.
10. On successful registration, user receives a confirmation e-mail with an activation link to the
registered Email ID. An SMS along with OTP (One time Password) is also sent to the registered
Mobile number. In order to activate the account, the user should click on the activation link and
enter the Mobile PIN. Upon logging in successfully, the user account is activated and the system
redirects the user to the ‘Home page’ and login details will be sent through SMS/Email to the
respective applicant/user.
11. For users who have previously availed incentives from the Government of Andhra Pradesh will
receive a username & password from the department. Applicants are requested to contact the
department in case they have not received it from the department.
12. The profile created will mention the details of the applicant as well as the details of incentives
previously applied for and sanctioned. Applicants are requested to verify the details and
proceed to apply for incentives on the online portal. In case of any query, applicants are
requested to visit www.apindustries.ap.gov.in

ENTREPRENEUR HOME PAGE
1. After successful registration, Users are requested to enter the login details in order to apply for Industrial Incentives.
2. The system displays a welcome message on top of the screen along with guidelines to fill the Common Application Form & respective industrial incentives, as shown below:

form to apply for incentives for the new Enterprises.
4. Click on the ‘Apply Incentives for Expansion/Diversification Enterprise” link in order to fill new

5. Click on the ‘View Submitted Applications’ button to display the summary of applications
submitted by the user along with the status

1. After Clicking on “Apply Incentives for New Enterprise”, screen will redirect to application page as shown below. Most of the fields in this Section will be pre-populated from Entrepreneur Registration Screen.

details until user submits the Application form.
3. User needs to digitally sign the below mentioned undertaking before submitting the form
I / We certify that we have complied / are complying with all the provisions of Industrial
Development Policy 2015-20 / Industrial Investment Promotion Policy (IIPP) 2010-2015
and Sector Policies for 2015-20 of Government of Andhra Pradesh made there under
and further abide by the change/modifications made by Government of Andhra Pradesh
under the relevant policies and also abide by the decisions of Industries Commerce
Department.
I / We hereby confirm that all requisite clearances / approvals / NOCs for running the
industry have been obtained and that failure to comply with the requisite clearances /
approvals / NOCs shall may make us liable for legal action as specified under the
respective Acts / Codes and Rules including withdrawal of incentives.
I / We hereby confirm that the contents mentioned above are true to the best of my /
our knowledge. I / We am / are jointly and severally responsible for any information
found incorrect subsequently and liable for prosecution under the provisions of
applicable Acts / Codes and Rules.
I / We undertake to refund 10 times the concessions claimed if found were obtained by
misrepresentation of facts or in case of misuse

If an enterprise has already availed incentives through Online Industrial Incentives portal and is
applying for incentives related to expansion, please follow the instructions:
1. Entrepreneur can apply expansion project incentives only after filing the New/regular enterprise
incentives to the department.
2. Personal Details section will not be editable once Common Application form is submitted.
3. Enterprise Details : Only following information can be edited
a. Investment amount (Plant & Machinery)
b. Partnership details
c. Employee information (Full-time Employees)
4. Investment Details: Only following Information is editable
a. Fixed capital investments
b. Line of activity.

6. After furnishing the above details, please repeat the same steps as a new application

APPLY FOR POWER COST REIMBURSEMENT
1. Please click on ‘Power Cost Reimbursement’ link to apply for respective incentives. The page will
redirect to the respective power Incentive form based on the Project type and applicable policy
and following are the types of Incentive forms.
Power Incentive form for New Enterprises.

Value of Plant and Machinery (in INR) will be show as in Screen #33 and Entrepreneur has the
option to change the value for Eligible component.
4. After the entering the machinery value, the system will calculate Computed Cost for Land,
Factory and Machinery as per the entered fields.
5. Click on the refresh button to calculate final Eligible Incentive Amount, it will sum of Part-A &
Part-B Details.
6. Click on the ‘Submit Application”, OTP (One time password) will generate to submit the sales
tax Reimbursement form for the respective Incentives. Enter the OTP which you got through
mobile, after entering the OTP, application will submit online.
7. Once the application submitted, Application confirmation status will be communicated to
Entrepreneur through both SMS and Email.
