• Besides playing solo, it always responsible for the part of the Bass Strings in Chamber Music, String Orchestra and Orchestra.

• Sometimes it will be as a Bass in the Orchestra to replace like gehu, 拉阮 , 琵琴… ( 等 ) Bass of Chinese music.

”viola dagamba” 古大提琴

• This ancient musical instrument had a total of six strings, and it was also known as 「腿上提琴」 .

• Sound was very soft, and had hazy beauty.• In 17 C., because there were much more chances to play in a square, the volume was asked to be louder, So must had to improve viola dagamba.

• The success were about the sound became not only soft but also tension ， elegant and charm, and the size was fit with an emsemble or a moving play.
