If you plan to post your own content you’ll need to submit the request to [email protected]. From there you’ll get revisions to the content or an okay to post!

We’ve got you covered from start to finish in this Social Media set up guide. You’ll learn how to set up and complete all your social media profiles to get you on your

way to becoming the social media pro you’ve always wanted to be.

Want to be a social media expert but don’t know where to start?

Setting up Your Business PageLog into your personal Facebook account. You’ll be managing your business account from your personal account. But don’t worry, people won’t be able to link the two together.

STEP 1: Create your business profile page. In the top right hand corner there is a down arrow with account options. Here is where you’ll find the option to “Create a Page.”

From there you’ll have 6 different page options. You will want to select Local Business or Place. For the first category, please choose Bank/Financial Services.

For compliance purposes, when naming your Facebook page you’ll need to include our company name. That means if you’re setting up the business page for yourself make sure it follows this example: John Doe at On Q Financial, Inc. If it is a team page it should be John Doe’s Team at On Q Financial, Inc.

Complete the fields with your branch address and business phone number.

On the next page, select your business category. We suggest that you use “Loans.” Write a description of your page. Be sure to include your website in the third text box. You want your followers to be able to access it directly from your Facebook page.

When choosing a unique Facebook web address make sure you keep it simple. For compliance purposes it cannot appear as if you’re another company. For that reason, we suggest using “yourname@onq.”

STEP 2: Now upload your professional headshot so people can put a face to your name and your referral partners and borrowers will be able to easily identify you. STEP 3: Add your page to your favorites tab. You’ll be posting and sharing a lot on your business page, so you’ll want it to be easily accessible in your favorites tab.

STEP 4: “Reach more people” this is where you can set up ad campaigns and add a payment method. Since you’re just getting started lets skip this part for now.

YOUR PAGE IS UP! YOU SHOULD BE THE FIRST TO GO AHEAD AND LIKE IT!

Don’t get Sidelined! COMPLIANCE GUIDELINES FOR COMPLETING YOUR FACEBOOK PROFILEFill out the about section on your profile page in the page info portion. In the long description section please include: Your NMLS#, Branch address, your office phone number, and the disclaimer “On Q Financial, Inc. is an Equal Housing Lender, NMLS#5645.“ Note: California Mortgage Consultants you’ll need to include California RMLA# 4131336 Arizona Mortgage Consultants need to include AZ BK#-0906866.
