On-Line Membership Renewal Now Available

This year our membership renewal application is available only online through the EntryEeze link on the club website. EntryEeze includes links to our waivers, releases, consent for medical treatment, and volunteer areas. Please read through these documents carefully, as your processed application is your legal acceptance of these waivers and rules. Information obtained on the forms will be used to register you with U.S. Figure Skating. If you have not received an automatic email regarding the registration process, your email address in our records is incorrect. Please contact Membership Chair Anna Marie Champion as soon as possible. Please make sure that the information automatically populated on EntryEeze from your current membership, including spelling, is correct. It is also very important that you provide accurate home mailing and email addresses so that we can communicate with you in a timely manner.

If you plan to test or compete at a U.S. Figure Skating sanctioned event that begins on or after July 1, you must renew your membership before the application deadline. When your membership is processed, you will receive an email notification from the club, and your U.S. Figure Skating membership card will be mailed to you directly by USFS. What is your weekly training regimen?

I have two older brothers, an orange Tabby named Zip, a Persian named Jasmine, and a rabbit named Toffee.

My coach, Eric. He is always there for me and has helped me be the skater I have become and hope to be.

What is the most memorable event of your skating career?

Every day I skate 1-1/2 hours, do one hour of off-ice at the rink and an additional hour at home.

My biggest accomplishment so far was at the 2011 South Atlantics where I placed first in my group at the Preliminary level and went on to final rounds.

My favorite element is a double Salchow. It's my highest and strongest jump and the jump I hope to be my first triple. My least favorite element is the double flip because it causes me the most frustration.

To surround myself with people who bring me up, not down.

Tell us about your school and extracurricular activities.

My favorite subject is math. I was home schooled this past year, but will go back to Fideles Christian for the upcoming year as a freshman. I participated in ballet this past season and really enjoyed it.

I love the satisfaction I get when I accomplish a new goal.

Least favorite word: Can't

My first time at Regionals, I fell on every jump and spin in my program and came in dead last. I vowed to never let myself get that nervous at a competition again.

The annual Awards Banquet was held on June 10 at Country Club of Roswell. Over 85 members participated in the festivities that included a fabulous dinner, the presentation of awards, and line dancing instruction by two local pros.
