Foreword

The OMU operating system is installed before the OMU is

delivered

BSC6900 commissioning is performed after the hardware is

installed and before the services are provided. It aims toensure that the BSC6900 can work normally through tasks

such as equipment verification, BSC6900 board software

and data file loading, interface verification, and service

verification.

Definitions of IP addresses of the OMU

The OMU IP addresses include: External fixed IP addresses

Internal fixed IP addresses

External virtual IP addresses

Internal virtual IP addresses

Debugging IP address.

Backup channel IP address of the active and standby OMUs. (Optional)

Before an OMU is delivered, six IP addresses are configured. The

default IP addresses may not meet the requirement of onsite

planning. All the OMU IP addresses need to be planned on site,

and some of the IP addresses need to be re-set.

Active BAM: 80.168.3.50 (255.0.0.0)

Standby BAM: 80.168.3.60 (255.0.0.0)

The preset IP addresses of the external Ethernet adapters are:

Active BAM: 172.121.139.201 (255.255.255.0)

Standby BAM: 172.121.139.202 (255.255.255.0)

The settings can be reconfigured on site based on the actualnetworking topology

Before the installation, obtain the following information from

Data Sheet of BAM Software Installation

Password of the operating system administrator

Fixed IP address of the external network, virtual IP address of

the external network, or debugging IP address of the OMU.

Uploading the OMU ApplicationInstallation Package to the OMU

Decompress the BSC6900 version software package to the local

drive D

Log in to the OMU through the psftp software

Run the lcd D:\ to set the local directory Run the mkdir /mbsc/upgrade to create the target directory

Run the cd /mbsc/upgrade to go to the target directory

Run the put -r V900R011C00 to upload the OMU application

installation packet to the OMU

After the loading is complete, enter the exit command to exist the

psftp software

install_bam.sh is saved in

/mbsc/upgrade/V900R011C00/install/setup.

On the PuTTY terminal, run the following commands
