The attention of all persons entitled to receive dutiable goods imported or removed from warehouse
without payment of duty or on paymentofduty at a reduced rate on any ofthe following condition/s :—
(a) that the goods are intended or imported for a specified use or purpose, or
(B) that the goods will not be sold, or
(c) that the goods will be re-exported, or
(d) in any like condition
is invited to section 41 of the Customs and Excise Management Ordinance (No.55 of 1958).2. The section provides that such goods shall not be used or dealt with in any way contrary to the use,
purpose or condition foror subject to which they were delivered from customs control except with the permis-
sion of the Board and after paymentofthe full duty, or such proportion thereof, as the Board may direct.
3, All persons concernedare advised therefore that they must notify the Board before disposing of anysuch goods, and to consult the Secretary to the Board or the nearest Collector of Customs and Excise wherethere is any doubt’as to,the intérpretation of the Customs Laws in relation to such goods.

1962. TECHNICAL PALM OIL MARKETING SCHEME MINIMUM PRODUCER PRICES
It is notified for general information that the Western Region Marketing Board, by virtue of its powers
under section 16 (a) of the Marketing Board Law (Cap 75 ofthe Lawsofthe Western Region of Nigeria, 1959)
has fixed the prices set out in Columns 2, 3 and 4 ofthe Schedulesubjoined as the minimumprices payable for
technical, palm oil during 1962 at gazetted buying stations in the Western Region specified in Column I.
2. "Fhe minimumprices are based as in previous years on the naked ex-scale Bulk Oil Plant prices less the
appropriate cost of transport by the approved normal evacuation routes.

_ 3, Under the provisions of the Produce SalesTax Law (Cap. 99 of the Laws of the Western Region ofNigeria, 1959) all sales of technical pal oil made in the Western Region to the licensed buying agents of the
Western Region Marketing Board are subject to produce sales tax qt the rate of £1 per ton.
4, For purposes ofcollection of this tax for which the Marketing Board is accountable to the appropriate
Regional Authority in respect of all sales of technical palm oil madetoitorits licensed buying agents in the
Region, the arrangements set out in paragraph 5, are prescribed. .
