Calvary Chapel has been formed as a fellowship of believers, humbly seeking to be submitted to the Lordship of Christ over every area of our lives. We are varying people, coming from many different backgrounds; but we are united by our common experience of Jesus’ forgiving and cleansing work on the cross and the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
At Calvary, we believe that God communicates to His people through the Word of God, and so we give a great deal of emphasis to the teaching and studying of God’s Word in our Sunday morning worship services.
Additionally, we place a large emphasis on music and song in the worship service, because we believe that in gra tude for God’s gracious and merciful work in our lives, we are exhorted to li up songs of praise, admira on and adora on to Him.
Finally, we believe our mes of worship should be led by God’s Spirit, therefore, we always seek to remain flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit in our gatherings.
It is the prayer of the worship leaders and myself that you will sense the presence of God here this morning and that He will comfort and challenge you as you seek to walk daily with Him.
Pastor Gregg
