If you knew what was on the other side of your

mountain, you would move it. You've been

letting that thing stay there for too long. The

reason that mountain is still there is becausethe devil is trying to keep you from getting what

God has prepared for you! BUT the devil is

already defeated and YOU are victorious! Your

mountain needs to hear YOUR voice. Jesus said,"When YOU speak to the mountain, it will obey

YOU." When Jesus refers to the mountain He isreferring to something that seems too big for

you----something that seems impossible, butyour mountain will respond to your voice. So

today, say to your mountain, "MOVE IT," and itshall move!

Faith moves God. Faith moves mountains.

Faith won't move anything until it moves you.The first part of you that your faith will move is

your mouth. God is a faith God.

    (Pastor Mark Hankins)

Matthew 17:20 (AMP) says, ".....Fortruly I say to you, if you have faith (thatis living) like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move

from here to yonder place, AND IT WILLMOVE; AND NOTHING WILL BE

    IMPOSSIBLE TO YOU!"

    The Thermometer

    vs. The Thermostat

"Let no one despise orthink less of you because

of your youth, but be an

    example (pattern) for

    the believers in speech,

    in conduct, in love, in

    faith, and in purity!" 1

    Timothy 4:12

Are you a thermometer or a

    thermostat? A thermometer is

an instrument for determiningtemperature. It simply reflects the

    environment. Individuals that are

    thermometers will say what

everyone else says and do whateveryone else does. However, God

has called all of His children to bethermostats. A thermostat is an

automatic device for regulatingtemperature.....it sets the

    atmosphere! As a blood bought

believer, it is important that you

don't just live in this world, butthat you set the atmosphere by

being an example. As 1Timothy 4:12

says you must be an example inspeech, in conduct, in love, in faith,

and in purity. Jesus has called Hischildren to set the "speech

    temperature", "conducttemperature","love temperature", "faith

    temperature", and "puritytemperature."

Dont be like the thermometer who only

reflects what is going on in itssurroundings, instead do as 1 Corinthians

11:1 says and be imitators of Christ, so

that others can follow you as you follow

Him! Remember, God called you the salt of theearth and the light of the world! Salt adds flavor

and seasonsit is not bland! And light shines indark places! You are salt, you are light, you are

a city that sits on the hill! Set theatmosphere, be an example, and shine!

Dont worry about being seen by others,

because you cannot and will not be hidden

according to Matthew 5:14! Many will see thelife you live for Christ and the example you setand will want to know and glorify the God that

you serve. My friend, its important that you

always go with God! To go with the flow ofthis world is to live with limitations, but togo with the flow of God, is to open yourself

    to unlimited possibilities never before

    imagined!

For we live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV

"The call of God on your life is going to require a "by faith"

    life!"

    ByFaith

During my quiet time with the Lord, I

was led to Hebrews 11. As you

probably know this portion of the Word

of God is referred to as the "Hall ofFaith" because it features the "Heroes

of Faith." As I read I noticed that each

of these heroes, all of which had

different callings and different stories-----some good and some bad-----did

incredible things for the glory of God!They did these incredible and

extraordinary things not by theirown strength, power, or

ability.....but BY FAITH! God beganto minister to me about my future and

He said to me what I believe many of

you need to hear today and that isthat, "The call of God on your life is

going to require a "by faith" life!"

You will be discouraged by what you

see, feel, or the circumstances that

you experience....if you do not live a "by faith"

life. Hebrews 11:1,3 says, "Now faith is

the substance of things hoped for, the

evidence of things not seen. Through faithwe understand that the worlds were

framed by the word of God, so that things

which are seen were not made of things

which do appear." Friend, this life for youand I is a faith life! We are in a faith fight and

    it's a good one....Praise God! As you readthrough Hebrews 11 you'll notice a common

thread, "By faith Abel...." "By faithEnoch....." "By faith Noah...." By faith

Abraham...." "By faith Sara...." "By faithIsaac...." "By faith Joseph...." "By faith

Moses......" "By faith the Israelites passedthrough the Red Sea as by dry land...." "By

faith the walls of Jericho fell down.....""By faith

Rehab......" "By faith Gideon, Barak, Samson,

    Jephthah, David, Samuel, and theprophets....."

Then starting in Hebrews 11:33 we read, "who through faith conquered kingdoms,

administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouth of lions,

quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weaknesswas turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.

Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were

tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonments. They were put todeath by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went

about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted, and mistreated. The world was

not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in

holes in the ground. These were all commended for their faith....." (Hebrews 11:33-

39 NIV) Whew, my friend, as we can see......there is nothing that we cannot dothrough faith....by living a "by faith" life! Faith has an attitude and an action.

Believing is the attitude and speaking is the action. When we keep our speaker

connected to our believer, faith carries us to our divine destiny. The Message Bibletranslates the phrase, "by faith" as "by an act of faith." Faith is an act. Act like Jesushas done what He said he did. Act like you would if you already had the thingyou are believing God for. Act like you are who God says you are. Act like you

can do what God says you can do. Remember, faith is an act. Hebrews 11

contains some of God's greatest actors. God gave oscars to these heroes of faith. Rollout the red carpet and get the camera ready! It is time for some more actors

and the awards are eternal! Hebrews 11:6 tells us how we are to please God..it is

through faith that we please Him..not fear, not doubt, not unbelief, and not

disobedience. Faith gets happy now. Faith enjoys the journey in spite of all of theadversity that is being faced. Faith comes by hearing a certain sound. Faith comes by

hearing the Word of God. The Word of God opens our ears to the supernatural

plan and provision of God! (Romans 10:17,18) Living by faith is not something youdo every once in a while; it's a daily walk with God. Faith will invade every area of your

life. Faith will change the atmosphere in your house and in your life! Faith is morethan just a formula; it is fire in the spirit of a man!Faith is not afraid of the

unknown. Faith will push out from the shore and ".Launch out into the deep.for a

draught (catch)at thy word. (Luke 5:4,5). Faith will make you leave your comfortzone. Faith shouts even when the walls are still standing and FAITH IS THE VICTORY!

(1 John 5:4) One of the devil's strategies is to entice the believer out of the arena offaith and into the arena of feelings, sight, or circumstances. You must stay in the

arena of faith, because that is where the victory is won. Another strategy of the

devil is discouragement. You may experience setbacks and delays in your life, but yourfaith fight is a good fight because YOU win! (1 Timothy 6:12) Today, take a stand,

be still, stay focused, and keep living by faith! It is time for YOU to rise up and do

great exploits all for the glory of God!

    FaiththatExpects!

    (Continued)

    FaithThat

    Expects!

    "Faith is the confidence

    that what we hope for

    will actually happen; it

    gives us assurance about

    things we cannot see."

    Hebrews 11:1 NLT

    "Fear is expectation

    going in the wrong

    direction." Pastor

    George Pearsons

In the post "By Faith" werealized that the call of God onour lives is going to require a"by faith" life!" We have all

    heard 2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP

which says, "For we walk byfaith, not by sight or

    appearance." We all know

    that as believers we should

live by faith.....believing thatGod is faithful and will surly

    do it (Thessalonians 5:24

ESV) and that all things will

    work together for our good

    (Romans 8:28). But let's bereal, sometimes.....it's really

hard to believe in spite ofwhat you see or how you feel.But.....friend, if you are going

to see the manifestation ofGod's glory.....believing and

    having faith in spite

of.....although difficult attimes......is vital and will get

    you to your expected end

    (Jeremiah 29:11). Friend,

not only must we live byfaith and not by sight, but

    we must also have faith

that expects. We have anenemy out there that

desires to see us defeatedand all he can use is a big

    box of suggestions. "What

if this doesn't happen,""What if God doesn't come

    through," "What if this;

    what if that......" I am

reminded of a story thatwas told to me:

    "When Gladys Aylward was

on her way to China to

fulfill the call of God on herlife, the enemy must have

    known how powerful her

ministry would be, becausehe tried to thwart her

before she even arrived. InRussia, corrupt

government officialsdetained her. As she sat in

    a hotel room, thinking

about a way to escape, an

    officer tried to force his

    way in.

Boldly, she told him, Youare not coming in here.

    Why not? he smirked.

    Because this is my

    bedroom.
