New School

The Board of Management are very pleased to share the news that significant progress has been made on our new

school project over the past few months. The project is progressing to Stage 2 Design.

Assembly on Line

Our First Assembly online was a great success last Friday. We celebrated our wonderful Irish Speakers, Gaeilgeoirí

na Míosa and leaves for our “Kindness Tree” were awarded to pupils who showed kindness during the month.

There was great excitement last Wednesday as Gaelic Football training re-commenced with Jamie. Health & Safety guide-

lines are being followed carefully.

First Holy Communion

We wish the boys and girls in Rang 3 the very best for Saturday as they make their First Holy Communion. (Due to Covid-19

regulations only two adults are allowed in the Church with the child. The ceremony will be streamed live on Facebook (St.

Mollerans Church).

Srianta Covid-19

Míle buíochas arís as ucht do chomhoibriú leis na srianta atá i bhfeidhm de bharr Covid-19. Tá an baol ann anois

áfach go n-éireoimid réchúiseach faoi rudaí. Seo an t-am is tábhachtaí chun cloí leis na nósanna imeachta agus na

réamhchúraimí.

Thank you so much for your co-operation with the Covid-19 restrictions. This is a danger now that we may get com-

placent about things. It is now very important to continue making every effort to adhere to the procedures and pre-

cautions.

Ná tar isteach sa scoil gan choinne/Do not come to school without an appointment

Mar chuid de na nósanna imeachta nua COVID, chun cabhrú le rianú teagmhála srl., níl cead ag daoine teacht isteach i

bhfoirgneamh na scoile gan choinne. Má tá rud le tabhairt isteach do do pháiste is féidir glaoch ar an oifig agus ea-

grófar é. Má tá tú ag bailiú páiste luath, cuir glaoch ar an oifig agus tú ar do bhealach le do thoil, beidh an páiste ag

fanacht le siúl amach chugat nuair a thagann tú.

As part of the new COVID procedures, to help with contact tracing etc., people are not permitted inside the school

building without an appointment. If you have something to drop in for your child, please call the school and it will be

arranged. If you are collecting a child early, call the office when you are on your way please, your child will be waiting

to walk out to you when you arrive.

Mascanna aghaidhe dhíth ar láthair na scoile! / Face masks required on school grounds!

Níl cead ag daoine fásta ar láthair na scoil gan mhasc. Mile buíochas leo siúd a chaitheann masc timpeall na scoile.

Déanann sé difear suntasach dóibh siúd againn a bhfuil imní orthu agus thar aon rud eile, caithfidh gach duine mothú

sábháilte ar láthair na scoile.

Adults are not allowed on school grounds without a mask! Many thanks to those who wear a mask for the co-

operation, I really appreciate it. It makes a significant difference to those of us who are worried and above all else,

everybody must feel safe on the school grounds.

Polasaí Iontrála agus Fógra Maidir le Ligean Isteach 2020

Tá Polasaí Iontrála nua ag gach scoil sa tír i mbliana agus muidne san aireamh. Brúigh ar an nasc chun teacht air le do

thoil. Táimid ag glacadh le hIarrtais i gcomhair 2021/2022 ón 01/10/2020—30/11/2020. Iarrtar ort do pháiste a

chlarú le do thoil.

Admission Policy and Notice of Admission 2020

Every school in the country has a new admissions policy this year, including us. Please click on the link on the school

website to access it. We are accepting applications for 2021/2022 from 01/10/2020—30/11/2020. Please register

your child between these dates.

Reminder

Tá cosc iomlán ar fhón pócaí ar scoil. As you are aware, we have a total ban of Mobile Phones in our school.

Coiste na dtuismitheoirí

We will be having our AGM via Zoom on Thursday 8th October 2020 ar 8.00pm. The Zoom meeting details will be

sent via email through Aladdin.

During this meeting, we will need to elect a new committee for the coming year. There are four main roles on the

committee, namely Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and PRO. The current holders of these positions are all step-

ping down from the committee this year so all four positions are open to all to form a brand new committee! There

will, of course, be a handover of duties from the current committee to the new one.

I would encourage all parents to please consider taking up a position on the committee. It is rewarding work. If no-

body gets nominated and elected to these positions, that unfortunately means there will be no committee to fund-

raise in order to subsidise school activities.
