end solution capable of operating at up to 20 Mbps. Included with the PCM

Receiver Brick is a Windows graphical user interface (GUI) that provides all

Receiver controls and a received signal strength indicator.

Performance

The PCM Receiver Brick's low noise figure and the PCM Data Brick's high

performance variable rate PCM bit synchronization combine to provide an

affordable, compact, and rugged package that can match or even exceed some

lab-based ground stations. The PCM Receiver Brick excels in harsh noise

environments and provides support for extreme signal-to-noise performance

when attached to high gain antenna systems.

OMEGA Data Environment (ODE)

OMEGA Data Environment (ODE) is a post test data mining software tool that leverages

search engine technology to allow the user to:

Visualize large data sets quickly even over a distributed wide area

network configuration. ODE uses a unique data compression technique called

Stat Packs to compress large data sets which allows the end user to plot

tremendous amounts of data on the screen very quickly.

Search all data published to ODE. ODE allows the user to construct search

expressions to find where certain parameters hit specific levels

simultaneously. These results can displayed and exported to other formats for

complex analysis.

Display heterogeneous types of data on one screen. ODE can play video

and audio while stepping cursors through the corresponding time domain plotted

data as well. ODE can also display 1553 data and other message types.

Provide Restricted Access to data. ODE allows an administrator to set access

rights to data for users down to the individual parameter level, by lists of

parameters, or entire data sets.

Export time slices or whole data sets to other formats. Matlab, csv, HDF5,

IRIG 106 Chapter 10, and more.

Page 7: Nprime aerospace telemetry

Metadata filtering. ODE allows the user to attach descriptive metadata to data

sets during publishing automatically or manually. Data objects can be filtered on

the data object tree based on this metadata to allow a user to find all tests on a

specific aircraft tail number, day of the year, location, etc.

Who are QUASONIX?

The demanding environment of the aeronautical telemetry market has specialised this company with a rich, talented and experienced team to

consistently design, develop and manufacture market-leading telemetry products. Used by world-

wide customers to include multi-mode telemetry transmitters, multi-mode and multi-symbols trellis

telemetry demodulators, complex multi-mode telemetry receivers and rack-

mounted receiver analysers.

This is a truly innovative and technology driven company in the aeronautical telemetry market.

QUASONIX product information Used world-wide by test flight engineers, Quasonix’ transmitters, receivers and

demodulators outperform the competition. Whether the test department requires individual or rack-mounted instrumentations, Quasonix has not only

both hardware but as inflight instruments require small instruments for space saving, the specifications for some of these transmitters are smaller than 1.3 cubic inches. Some of these instruments can be called Nano-instruments.

Within the Quasonix products we can list:

Transmitter Receivers Demodulators

For further information on all products from Quasonix, please click on the link

to access the full catalogue for the product listing. Telemetry Transmitters

Quasonix transmitters offer three types of modulations of increasing spectral efficiency - PCM/FM, SOQPSK-TG and Multi-h CPM. This is also known as ARTM

Tiers 0, I, and II with a standard bit rate ranging from 0.1 to 28 Mbps (0.05 to 14 Mbps for PCM/FM). (The maximum bit rate with a Clock Free transmitter is 35 Mbps for all modes.). With bandwidth becoming a growing premium in flight

test telemetry, you can take advantage of 2 to 2.5 times the data capacity of the legacy PCM/FM waveform with SOQPSK-TG and Multi-h CPM.

TIMTER™ Transmitter

Quasonix' digital multi-mode telemetry transmitters are the

benchmark of the industry, providing unparalleled performance and value, in small, robust, power-efficient

packages. The TIMTER™ transmitter, now in its third generation and smaller than ever at 4.1 cubic inches, offers the most versatile transmitter with advanced capabilities like

Tri band frequency tuning and output power up to 20 Watts and plenty of optional add-ons for application specific

tailoring.

For full specification, you can click on the link for full access. nanoPuck™ Transmitter

At a size as small as an astonishing 1.3 cubic inches, the nanoPuck™ transmitter supports the smallest of airborne

platforms with programmable multi-mode operation and as much as 10 Watts of RF output. The smallest ARTM

Page 10: Nprime aerospace telemetry

transmitter avaiable, nanoPuck™ is ideal for airborne applications with strict

SWAP constraints. For full specification, you can click on the link for full access.

nanoTX™ Transmitter Like its brother the nanoPuck™, the nanoTX™ transmitter supports the smallest of airborne platforms

with programmable multi-mode operation and as much as 10 Watts of RF output. The smallest ARTM

transmitter now available, nanoTX™ is ideal for airborne applications with strict SWAP constraint

For full specification, you can click on the link for full access.

Telemetry Receivers Quasonix provides complete Receiver - RF to Bits. A single-box solution that

accepts RF signals and delivers baseband clock and data. No external add-ons are required. Flight-ready airborne package compacts to a 12 cubic inch (4.00" x 3.00" x 1.00") enclosure. True Trellis Demodulation in all ARTM modes

provides true trellis detection in all three ARTM modes for optimal demodulation. Lower L, Upper L, S or tri-band Tri-band receiver are now available at lowest

noise figure of 3.5 dB noise value, best of all other ARTM receivers on the market.

Airborne RDMS™ Receiver Quasonix’ Multi-Mode Airborne RDMS™ Telemetry

Receiver features an extremely-sensitive RF down converter integrated with the company's market-leading ARTM demodulator and bit synchronization in a

compact 12 cubic inch flight-ready package. When compared to the competition, RDMS offers a

remarkable 6 to 8 dB sensitivity advantage than the competition with an option of 5-band coverage (P, Lower L, Upper L, S and C). What you choose to do

with the extra link margin is up to you.

For full specification, you can click on the link for full access.

Rack-mounted RDMS™ Receivers

At its core, the Rack-Mount RDMS™ Telemetry Receiver is an airborne RDMS

repackaged however that would not be doing this elegant machine justice. Featuring four high-quality colour displays for configuration, control, and

constellation / eye pattern monitoring, a full numeric keypad, dedicated function keys, a custom Aluminium chassis and an Ethernet-based remote client interface that simplifies operation - rather than muddy it and it becomes apparent that

this is no ordinary telemetry receiver. The RDMS Telemetry Receiver features

Page 11: Nprime aerospace telemetry

one or two channels with options of combining frequency coverage of P, Lower L,

Upper L, S and C bands. For full specification, you can click on the link for full access.

Telemetry Demodulators

Quasonix has available both rack-mounted and airborne

demodulator and receiver products. its multi-mode, multi-symbol trellis demodulator is

regarded as the industry best benchmark for ARTM waveform demodulation with its unprecedented BER

performance, short synchronization time, and low sync threshold. Available in several configurations: a circuit-

card assembly for OEMs, a 4 in3 airborne enclosure, or a 1U rack-mount

enclosure

For full specification, you can click on the link for full access. Quasonix Application Specific

Ethernet via Telemetry Airborne System with optional 2-way uplink.

Imagine that you can have your Quasonix airborne instruments on-board your fighter jet collecting and transmitting data with optional airborne ISR cameras

linking the data link to your internet. Hence this makes the whole systems a Local Area Network. Hence this redefines the word “Local” and with Quasonix

Ethernet Via Telemetry (EVTM) system, your test schedule can be on your ground station LAN, just like any other PC or Ethernet hardware. With an Ethernet switch in your test schedule, you can have cameras, VOI, computers,

etc..all connected to your network Command and Control center on the ground.

For full specification, you can click on the link for full access.
