The 25th

Global Symposium on “Transforming India through Project Mindset” will be held

in Delhi on December 4 and 5, 2017jointly organised by Centrefor Excellence in Project

Management andInternational Institute of Projects and Program Management (i2P2M). IMC

is a supporting organization.

In 1992, Centre for Excellence in Project Management (CEPM) organised the First

International Conference on Project Management in association with UNDP. Department of

Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance supported this conference and since then we have

organized a symposium every year. This laid the foundation for the scientific project

management. This year, they are celebrating 25 years of their continued efforts in creating

a project oriented in India.

Project management is an art and science of converting vision into reality and strategies

into deliveries. This definition as enunciated and accepted way back in 1992 during the First

International Conference on New Dimensions in Project Management is now well accepted

globally.

A special discount of 20% has been offered by the organisers to members of IMC on the

registration fee to attend the Global Symposium. Leaders from industry and government

would address the Symposium. Shri AS Kiran Kumar, Chairman,ISRO has confirmed to

speak in the symposium.
