Specially formulated for the same lift, processing and eat characteristics as standard pastry margarines, it offers consis- tency, quality and lower fat without sacrificing performance. Unlike reducing the ratio of pastry margarine in your formulations, using lower fat NovaLipid pastry keeps the same lift and same flaky properties. It is extruded to give a relatively firm, plastic, pliable texture, making it ideal for laminating in a wide variety of applications. NovaLipid pastry product makes oils and fats better for you. It not only delivers a particularly clean eat that is excel- lent for both hot and cold applications, but it also offers the extra advantage of reduced total and saturated fat content.
