ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

“Rising very early before dawn, he le and went off to a deserted place, where he prayed…He told them, ‘Let us go on to the nearby villages that I may preach there also. For this purpose have I come.’” - Mark 1:35, 38

In today’s Gospel reading, we see a perfect example of stew-ardship. Jesus gives His me to do all that God wishes - healing the sick and preaching. But before He begins, Jesus makes

me to be alone with God in prayer. It is through prayer, spending me with God, that we find the strength to do what He wishes us to do. Be sure to find me every day to be with God.

SIXTH SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME FEBRUARY 11, 2018

Did You Know…. • It takes over 100 volunteers to put on va-

cation Bible school to over 200 kids in our parish each summer??

• We have had a successful VBS program at Holy Infant for 16 years??

• Our VBS program is 100% volunteer run??

Several of our current volunteers have been in-volved with VBS for 10 years or MORE! So here’s your chance! We would love to give eve-ryone the opportunity to join in the fun.

WE NEED YOU! Our volunteers are: • Busy parents…just like you! • Devoted to their kids…just like you! • Fun…just like you! • Short on time…just like you!

Contact Carrie Wolf at [email protected] if you know you want IN ! Also, watch this bulletin for more information about specific available positions.

This promises to be one of the most rewarding weeks of your summer!

CYC G S G S U R C F 11!

Golf is available for boys and girls in grades 1-8. Registra on is now open! Grades 1-4 will receive 4 weeks of group lessons focusing on all parts of the game and an addi onal 3 weeks of course play.

Grades 5-8 will also receive group lessons and play an addi on-al 6 weeks of match play against others golfers from the same age bracket. For more informa on, please refer to the Holy Infant Athle cs webpage or contact [email protected]

The Girl Scouts would like to thank the generous people of the Holy Infant family for their support during our Cereal Drive at our school during the week of January 22-26. We collected an amazing 1,954 boxes of cereal, which we then donated to the St. Wenceslaus, St. Francis de Sales, and Circle of Concern food pantries. We feel

blessed to be a part of such a caring community, and we can’t wait to do it again next year!

“Let the children come to me…because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these…”
