The prices of goods supplied by the Companies where such goods are not manufactured by the Companies and are passed on to the customer in the same condition as received frcwn the manufacturer or supplier provided that: (a) reports are forwarded to the Tribunal at three monthly intervals setting out retail, trade and cost prices together with the respective gross margins for the representative sample products submitted to the Tribunal by the Com- panies on 2 October 1973 in the following product groupings: (i) general, hardware, tools and paints; (ii) cement; (iii) fixings; (iv) doors and timber products; (v) plumbing; (vi) plywood; (vii) particle board; (viii) hardboard and fibreglass; (ix) steel sheeting; (x) asbestos sheeting and (xi) aluminium sheeting; (b) reports are forwarded to the Tribunal at six monthly intervals setting out for each of the above product groupings: CO sales revenue and gross profit margins, and (ii) the percentage of total sales represented by each of the retail sales and trade sales; (c) audited confirmation of the data supplied under (b) above is forwarded to the Tribunal annually, and (d) gross profit rates established as at the date of the last audited balance sheet and gross profit target rates effec- tive as at 1 August 1973 are reported to the Tribunal, and no increase is made in such gross profit target rates without notification to the Tribunal in accordance with the Act; 2. increases in the price of imported timber where such in- creases are due entirely to and accurately reflect only increases in the cost to the Companies of such timber; 3. the prices of goods and services supplied by the Companies where such prices are fixed pursuant to contracts entered into following the submission of competitive tenders or com- petitive quotations; 4. the prices of goods and services supplied at the request of and expressly for a customer's particular specifications; 5. the prices of goods and services supplied to employees from the canteens and dining rooms operated by the Companies; 6. the disposal of building sites as a result of an offer by a prospective buyer, and 7. increases in the price of manufactured timber products and sawn timber where such increases are due entirely to and accurately reflect only the increases in royalties paid to the Forests Department of the State of Western Australia for such timber. COMPANIES listed hereunder from the provisions of section 18 of the Act, NOW I, LINDSAY HALE WILLIAMS. Chairman of the Prices Justification Tribunal, HEREBY. AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, EXEMPT the said KELVINATOR AUSTRALIA LIM-ITED AND RELATED COMPANIES from the application of section 18 of the Prices Justification Act 1973, in respect of prices of the following goods and services:

1. Wayne meters and associated equipment, commercial refriger-ation condensing units and systems, plastic parts, tooling, dies and jigs where such goods are made or assembled to individual customer specifications;

2. installation and servicing of Wayne meters and associated equipment;

3. Kelvinator appliance service and installation provided that: (a) the labour rate charges do not exceed those set out on a

list of standard rates forwarded to the Tribunal in advance;

(b) the prices of materials and parts comply with item 8. •below;

(c) budget statements for each six monthly period are for-warded to the Tribunal prior to the commencement of such period showing anticipated total revenue and anti-cipated total costs in that period for the said service and installation activities, and

(d) within one month of the conclusion of each six-monthly period to which (c) above relates, a report is forwarded to the Tribunal showing the actual total revenue and actual total costs in the last concluded six-monthly period for the said service and installation activities, as com-pared with budget, together with a statement signed by a director of Kelvinator Australia Limited certifying that the reports supplied have been compiled in accordance with the principles generally and consistently adopted by the Companies;

4. foundry and press work of a contract nature; 5. freight and out-of-pocket costs paid on behalf of customers

provided that the amount charged to the customer does not exceed the actual cost incurred by the Companies;

6. salvage materials, including salvaged parts and equipment; 7. warranties, and 8. parts and accessories provided that

(a) lists of standard prices of such parts and accessories as prepared by the Companies from time to time, bearing the date of issue, are supplied to the Tribunal in accor-dance with section 18 of the Prices Justification Act not less than 21 days before any increased prices indicated therein are proposed to take effect, and

<b) no increase in the target gross profit rates effective on 1st August 1973 in relation to parts and accessories trad-ing is made without prior notification to the,Tribunal in accordance with the Act

Provided further that the Companies' audited financial statements are forwarded to the Tribunal annually.

LINDSAY HALE WILLIAMS, Chairman of the Prices Justification Tribunal, HEREBY, AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, EXEMPT the said STEGGLES PTY LIMITED from the application of section 18 of the Prices Justification Act 1973, in respect of:

1. increases in the prices of prepared stockfeeds supplied by the Company where such increases are due entirely to and accurately reflect only the amount of any increase in the cost of raw materials used in the manufacture of such stock-feeds, and

2. prices of stockfeeds following the introduction of new rations including variations in formulation of existing rations pro-vided that the Company's profit margin on sales of such stockfeeds does not exceed that presently applicable to sales of similar stockfeeds

Provided that if the prices of raw materials are reduced the prices of stockfeeds supplied by the Company are reduced accordingly.

LINDSAY HALE WILLIAMS, Chairman of the Prices Justification Tribunal, HEREBY, AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, EXEMPT the said WESTRALIAN FARMERS CO-OPERATIVE LIMITED from the application of section 18 of the Prices Justification Act 1973, in respect of the prices of goods and services supplied by the Merchandise, Machinery, and Stationery Departments of the Com-pany. Provided that:

1. Reports are forwarded to the Tribunal at three monthly intervals setting out sales revenue and estimated gross profit for each Department;

2. statements for each Department referred to above are for-warded to the Tribunal at six monthly intervals certifying that the data supplied under 1. above were arrived at by using the procedures normally followed by the Company;

3. gross profit rates established as at the date of the last audited balance sheet and budget rates of gross profit effective as at 1 August 1973, in respect of each Department referred to above are reported to the Tribunal, and no increase is made in such budget rates of gross profit without notification to the Tribunal in accordance with the Att, and

of section 18 of the Act, NOW I, LINDSAY HALE WILLIAMS, Chairman of the Prices Justification Tribunal, HEREBY, AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, EXEMPT the said NORMAN ROSS STORES PTY LTD from the application of section 18 of the Prices Justification Act 1973, in respect of the prices of goods and services supplied by the Company Provided that:

1. Reports are forwarded to the Tribunal at three monthly inter-vals setting out sales revenue and estimated gross profit in respect of each of the following merchandise classifications: (a) hardware and building supplies; (b) furniture; (c) soft furnishings; (d) electrical; (e) housewares and small appliances, and (f) carpets and floor coverings;

2. confirmation of the data supplied under 1. above is forwarded to the Tribunal at six monthly intervals, certifying that it was arrived at by using the procedures normally followed by the Company;

3. gross profit rates for each of the merchandise classifications referred to in 1. above established as at the date of the last audited balance sheet together with budget rates of gross profit for each of the said classifications effective as at 1 August 1973 are reported, and no increase is made in such budget rates of gross profit without notification to the Tri-bunal in accordance with the Act;

4. the Tribunal is advised as soon as practicable before the effective date of any price increase by suppliers, indicating any upward movement in prices of domestic crockery, domestic hardware, electrical goods, manchester, bedding, furniture, fioor coverings, soft furnishings, and such other items or merchandise classifications as may be specified by the Tribunal from time to time, and

5. audited financial statements of the Company are forwarded to the Tribunal annually.

monthly reports of sales volume and estimated gross profit for the Roden Products Division;

(b) the reports referred to in (a) above are certified as being prepared in accordance with the Company's normal pro-cedures;
