- a high pressure breatheable air cylinder, - a carrying bag enabling to wear the device around the neck and to protect it from liquids and solid projections. The high pressure compressed air contained in the cylinder is reduced to a medium pressure by the HP/MP reducer valve and a constant air flow then inflates the hood. This air flow is calibrated and it maintains a slight positive pressure inside the hood.
