Nitrogen Management Plan (NMP) Summary Report TutorialPlease follow the Nitrogen Management Plan Summary Report instructions (provided here) and follow along with the guidedscreens below to complete your Nitrogen Management Plan Summary Report.

1. Navigate to Farm Builder and begin to build your farm. This must be completed prior to completing the Farm Evalua-tion and the NMP Summary Report. See the Farm Evaluation Tutorial to see a description of creating fields. +Review the APNs associated with your membership +Assign fields to all APNs enrolled. If you had 0 irrigated acres on an APN you may create a fallow field. +Review completed fields

If you created fields for the 2016 Harvest Year you can copy over all fields associated with current APNs. Please update 2016 fields for the 2017 year.

2. Navigate to the NMP Summary Report and complete all parts. +Total Available N Applied (lbs/ac) +Total Available N Applied/Harvest Yield (A/Y) +Production Unit/Acre +Harvest Moisture (Optional) +Define crop as No Yield/Non-Bearing if there was no harvest to report +Add a note for any additional information for a

If your fields are in the same management unit you can copy answers from one field to the next.

3. Review all NMP Summary values to ensure they were using appropriate units and were provided on a per acre basis +Fields highlighted orange have values which are outside of the range normally seen for the reported crop

4. Submit your completed NMP Summary Report to the coalition electronically and keep copy to keep on farm. DO NOT turn in your Nitrogen Management Plan

Note: Your March 1, 2018 NMP Summary Report reflects all farm activities during the 2017 Harvest Year (January 1-De-cember 31).

YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR NMP SUMMARY REPORT BY MARCH 1, 2018. Late reports will not be accepted.
