have had a significant impact on economicactivities , presenting both threats andopportunities .

Successes

The participation of the private and public sectors

indicates a greater awareness of the importance of HRD in relation to development of the island.

The European Union, which is the major donor 

for the PSDP, conducted an evaluation gave the

program high marks for its implementation. Theseaccomplishments suggest that NHRD is having a

positive impact.

secondary education in particular reflect

St. Lucia is, therefore, a process wherebythe private, public, and other sectors

collectively implement programs directed

at the development of workforce skills.Knowledge, and attitudes that are driven

by national development goals.
