A Message from the PresidentHere we are…Thanksgiving over and Christmas nearly here!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I especially hope all ofyou had electricity for Thanksgiving!

The November meeting turned out to be a very goodmeeting. I had called almost everyone to attend the meetingbecause I thought we were going to have a hard time getting somepositions filled. I had my twenty minute talk ready, but after only afew minutes, we had three volunteers! The president, vice-president and secretary positions were all filled. Thanks to Mary JoPhillips, Ken Barker and Diane Otto for saying yes! I hope that inthe future, it’s that easy to fill those positions. And also, thanks toall of you who turned out…that was the most members we’ve everhad at a monthly meeting! Thanks again!

John Eld will be giving a presentation at the December meeting – be sure to attend so you won’t missit! Daryl Elliott said he will do some monthly presentations for the club in upcoming months, too. We alwaysenjoy them. Thanks Daryl and John!

Be sure to check on the information regarding the Blackwater Falls weekend in March. A good time isalways had by all, so give it some thought and call Jackie Sheerer after making your reservations.

A potential new member wants to join our club. I talked to him and asked him to come to ourDecember meeting. He has some cars for sale and one of his friends also has some cars to be sold. He saidhe’ll be there, so we will see what happens.

In upcoming newsletters, details will be provided for making reservations.Ladies luncheon reminder - 2nd Wednesday in December.Men's breakfast reminder - Last Friday of the month at Eat n' Park, Rt. 910 and I-79.A thank-you to Mike and Cathy Paine for all the work they did regarding the Lincoln Highway Museum Tour

in October.A huge thanks was extended to Pat O'Neill for being our Clubs Webmaster and maintaining our roster and

also to Sean O'Neill for our monthly newsletter.

NEW BUSINESS:Our After Christmas Party will be held at Luciano's Brick Oven on Rt. 228, (same location as last year);

sometime in February 2019. Upcoming newsletters will have the details.From the "old guard" who regularly attend our meetings, we had some members step up to fill our outgoing

We are still in need of someone for the Historian position.

NOTE: Joe and Suzanne Acker and Dave and Kathy Kurash had a space at Hershey this year - and guess whostopped by: Jay Leno. Nothing was purchased , but Suzanne was able to get a photo!
