Current PBL Focus We are respectful when lining up! SPORT NEWS PSSA Girls’ Touch v Parkes East Last Thursday our girls PSSA touch team began their competition for the year. We came up against Parkes East in round 1. It was freezing and not many of us wanted to remove our warm jackets and track pants to play. We bolted from the start with Grace MacGregor scoring her first of four tries in the first two minutes of the game (out and down the sideline). This quick start possibly shocked Parkes East as they tightened their defence and began to play their own game. Throughout the remainder of the game, Grace scored three more tries with some great support from Tia Dunn, Faith Clarke and Lucy Hall. All girls played well, with the score finishing as 4-3 to Parkes Public. Well done girls! PBL Fun Fair The PBL Fun Fair is next week on Thursday 4 July from 1.40 to 3.00pm! This is an opportunity for students to spend their hard earned rockets on fun fair activities like hair braiding, face painting, karaoke, donuts on a string, obstacle course, nail painting and much, much more! We would greatly appreciate any parent helpers we can get. If you would like to help run a stall at our PBL Fun Fair please fill in the slip below and return it to school with your child by Friday, 28 June. If you need more information please contact Mrs Ruckley at school on 6862 1702.
