All are welcome to this service; particularly those who wish to remember someone who has died.
Let Hazel or Rev Adrian know of anyone you feel should be invited to this. And please invite any of your friends or neighbours to join us for this service.
Would you ‘sponsor’ a Bible? Each year our church gives a Bible to every child leaving St George’s
Academy to go to Secondary School. There are 49 children in Y6 this year. If you feel you can donate something towards the cost of this, e.g. £5, £10, or the full cost -‐ £12.99, it would be a great help.
Please put your gift in an envelope marked ‘Y6 Bible’ and put it in the offertory or hand it to Simon Gerner, our Treasurer.
Thank you.

For two weeks in July (starting July 2) and two weeks in September (3-‐15) we, The Riverside Parishes, will have a Cranmer College student on
placement. Hello! I’m Al Metcalfe, a Church of England Ordinand at Cranmer Hall. I’m 39; a husband (to Sarah) and a dad (to Connie, 9, and Reuben, 6) and we’ve come to Durham from Manchester. My professional background is as a writer and communications specialist for mission organisations. But I’m also a musician, worship leader and songwriter with a fair amount of experience of church planting. I enjoy running a few times a week, mainly in order to compensate for my love of good beer! I’m so grateful for the chance to be with you over the summer, and look forward to glimpsing some of what God is up to in this new season.
