Wellness Tip of the Month Wellness: a consistent deliberate effort to achieve

the highest potential for a total well-being.

Every day, no matter what our age or current health status, we have a very clear choice: We can grow older or we can grow younger. Literally...

Your body wants to move.

Your body was designed to stay strong, vital, and pain-free for the full duration of your life, no matter how old you get. Your body was programmed with the ability to continually repair itself after damage. Whether your living machine is mending broken bones, torn muscles, cuts and burns, or fighting off invading forces with its immunity soldier cells, its primary objective is to heal. And the more you move, the more you fuel this amazing cellular regeneration and these positive, adaptive responses to challenges. Yes, your body was created with complex systems that are capable of keeping you active and vibrant well into your senior years. And the sharpest, most powerful, most versatile tool for retaining this radiant ageless youth is not your heart, or your brain, or your lungs,—it is your muscles. Your muscles have an innate ability to remain strong and flexible well into old age—a function that not only helps you feel and move better, but also helps every single body system function better. When your muscles are strong, you feel less pain, lower your blood sugar, increase your energy, enjoy better focus, stronger memory, and sharper thinking grow significantly more brain cells, bring more oxygen into your body, lower your cholesterol, improve your cardiovascular health, slash your risk of diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, high blood pressure, and other chronic diseases, become more flexible, limber, and mobile and easily maintain a healthy weight and a toned physique.

HOA NEWS AND INFORMATIONI am pleased to announce that the Del Web at Dove Mountain (DWDM) Board of Directors has approved an effort to seek a Series 14 liquor license for the Saguaro Center and specific surrounding areas from the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.

A Series 14 liquor license is commonly known as a “Private Club License.” If approved by the Town of Marana and the State of Arizona, DWDM will have the ability to sell and serve all types of liquor for consumption at the Saguaro Center to DWDM residents and their guests.

In order to even apply for the Series 14 liquor license, 51% of the membership (homeowners) of DWDM must sign a petition setting forth that the homeowners of DWDM sup-port the Board’s efforts to obtain the license. Without the “Private Club License” there may be no liquor allowed at the Saguaro Center.

Please stop by the Saguaro Center in the next few weeks to sign the Petition so that we can move forward with submittal to the City of Marana and the State of Arizona for this liquor license. We also encourage supporters to spread the word to their neighbors to sign the Petition because without 51% of all DWDM homeowners signing the Petition, we will not be able to apply for this liquor license. Also, some of your

neighbors may be knocking at your door requesting you to sign the Petition. NOTE: The signatures obtained may comprise of no more than one homeowner per lot, and the signature must be a homeowner of record.
