Teacher enablement and training is a big issue

Some elements:• Help the teacher integrate various activities• Help him/her select appropriate design languages and tools• Help with other technology (other than for teaching because 20% of all jobs are IT intensive)

• Not actually a new trend• About 50% of successful use of technology in education

is repurposed (e.g. portals, wikis, web 2.0 social software, professional software, …)

• Do not make the mistake to believe that so-called learning management systems necessarily will fit your needs …
