FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Will I be losing functionality from the current Transaction Manager?

Current functionality will not be affected during the transition. During our redesign some features and functions have been adjusted and/or relocated. An overview webinar will be available highlighting new features and redesigned navigation in order to streamline your transition.

2. Is this version still built on the Microsoft Silverlight technology?

No, the new Transaction Manager is built utilizing HTML5 data language allowing for more flexibility and accessibility.

3. What is available with the new Transaction Manager UI version?

The following features are included in this new version:

h Built on HTML5 architecture, removing Microsoft Silverlight dependency

h Streamlined layout and design

h Alternate Transaction Detail views for easier navigation and review

h Enhanced paging, sorting and filtering functionality

h Ability to create shortcuts to commonly used pages

h Customization of home screen location

h Enhanced Transaction Search functionality

4. Can I access this version from Chrome or Safari?

Yes, the new Transaction Manager will be fully supported on the following browsers:

hMicrosoft Edge

hMicrosoft Explorer

hMozilla Firefox

hGoogle Chrome

h Apple Safari (Supported for cloud ERP integrations)

5. When can my company switch over to the new version?

We are planning an initial release for early adopters in Q2 of 2017, following our successful beta-testing period.

6. What do I have to do in order to switch to the new version of Transaction Manager?

If you are interested in switching over to the new platform as part of our first phase you will need to contact a TrueCommerce team member or visit this website for more details. At that time we can coordinate a time for the cutover and you will then have immediate access to the new platform.

7. Is there a fee for switching to this version?

In an effort to continue to provide our customers with the highest level of product performance we will not be charging a migration fee to the new Transaction Manager platform if you are already using the web-based version. If you are currently using the on-premise version you will be subject to our Migration Service charge for moving from on-Premise to web-based and migrating your data.

8. Is there downtime while switching to this version?

There will not be any disruption to your current business process when migrating to the new platform. Once you have been provided access to HighJump One Transaction Manager you will be able to immediately log in and begin processing transactions as expected.

9. Will testing be required when switching to this version?

Trading Partner or ERP integration testing is not required as the backend database, and front end setup and configuration code, has not changed in the release. However, it would be a good practice to validate that the integration and scheduled events are processing as expected following the migration.

10. Am I eligible to switch to the new version if I am using the Transaction Manager On-premise platform?

Following our initial release in Q2 2017 you will be able to migrate your Transaction Manager On-Premise database directly to the new Transaction Manager platform. This will be subject to our Migration Service charge for moving from On-Premise to Web-based and migrating your data.

11. Will I need to install any software when switching to the new version?

If you are connecting Transaction Manager to a local ERP or printing labels with the local Labeling Utility you will need to upgrade your Integration Service to version 7.9, if you are on an older version.

12. Will I lose my current data setup or transactions?

No, we have not made any changes to the backend databases that contain your transactions and setup. All information will be accessible and unaffected by the migration.

13. If I don’t want to switch over, can I retain access to the Silverlight version? How long will this version be supported?

Following our initial release in Q2 2017, we will allow simultaneous access to the new Transaction Manger UI and the Silverlight versions during the migration phase. Upon completion of this migration, we will begin to eliminate access to the Silverlight version.

14. How will I access this version?

Initially, you will be provided with a URL that will allow you access to the new Transaction Manager platform. Following our rollout period we will be replacing the link from the TrueCommerce Customer Center to lead you directly to the new platform. You’ll need your TrueCommerce profile ID and username/password to login to the Customer Center in order to access the new version of Transaction Manager.

15. Do I need to change my sign-in information?

You will not need to make any changes to your user profile in order to access the new platform. All user profile settings and permissions will carry over to the new platform.

16. Will you be continuing to release feature enhancements to the Silverlight version of Transaction Manager during this process?

Following our release in Q2 2017 we will be dedicating our new feature development to the new Transaction Manager platform. However, we will continue to support and release any customer impacting bug fixes to the Silverlight platform during this process.

17. How do I receive training on the new Transaction Manager User Interface?

hWe will be providing a series of live and recorded webinars to assist in a smooth transition to the new platform, highlighting new features and functionality.

h In-platform documentation and training videos will also be available on a variety of topics via the platform ‘Help’ option.
