Brief Introduction
I, Dr. Naveed Ahmad Khawaja BDS; MCPS (Oral Surg); DOMS; FPFA; MSc (UK); FADI worked as Demonstartor, Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Assistant Professor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dental College (Nishtar Institute of Dentistry), Nishtar Medical College, Multan Pakistan from 1982 to 2004.
I am Assistant Professor, Nishtar Institute of Dentistry and de’Mont College of Dentistry, Pakistan and on long leave (on deputation) from Pakistan as Assistant Professor since 1999 (and due promotion for Associate Professor in 2007)
I had also additional experience of department of Maxillofacial Pathology in the same above
positions as well as Head Division & Course director in Dental College (Nishtar Institute of
Dentistry), Nishtar Medical College, Multan Pakistan from 1990 to 2004 due to my
extensive teaching contribution and short of faculty.
Presently, I worked as Faculty and Senior Registrar in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Diagnostic Sciences (MDS) from 2004-2009, and have been working in Maxillofacial Surgery (MFS), College of Dentistry, KSU, Riyadh since 2009.
I have 18 years teaching and clinical experience in Oral & Maxfac Surgery including
10 years in DDS in College of Dentistry, Pakistan as an additional charge.
I have Seven (7) publications including one ISI journal publication at College of
Dentistry, King Saud University, Riyadh.
Have been working as “Assistant Editor” and Representative Middle East Desk
“Journal of Pakistan Dental Association (JPDA)” since 2006
I have been contributing teaching and clinical in all courses of MDS / MFS Dept
since 2004 in College of Dentistry, KSU in the same share as academic staff.
And also have been Co-Course Director of 311/312 MFS since 2009.
I have attended many national and international dental meetings and workshops
(>300 CME hours). Seven Oral presentations and one Poster presentation in dental conferences at Pakistan as well as KSA.
