Man is ever out-picturing that which he is conscious of being. This is thetruth that makes man free, for man is always self-imprisoned or self-freed.

If you, the reader, will give up all of your former beliefs in a God apartfrom yourself, and claim God as your awareness of being, you will

    transform your world…

ou are, at this very moment, drawing into your world that which you arenow conscious of being. If you are dissatis!ed with your presente"pression inlife the only way to change it, is to take your attention away from thatwhich seems so real to you and rise in consciousness to that which youdesire to be. ou cannot serve two masters, therefore to take yourattention from one state of consciousness and place it upon another is todie to one and live to the other.

#raying then, is seen to be recogni$ing yourself to be that which you nowdesire, rather than its accepting form of petitioning a God that does note"ist for that which you now desire.

#rayers to be successful must be claiming rather than begging % so if youwould pray for riches turn from your picture of poverty by denying thevery evidence of your senses and assume the nature of being wealthy.

&o not 'uestion the how of these things appearing, for no man knows that

way. That is, no manifestation knows how the things desired will appear.

(ack in )*+ when I came out of the army I was looking for an apartment. My wife and I had determined how much we were going to pay for it, butwhen we found the apartment the rent was more than we had planned topay. eali$ing this, my wife said /0ell, that1s not demonstrating thisprinciple, is it.2 I said nothing. I simply paid the months of 3eptember and4ctober, but when I went to pay the 5ovember rent the manager said /Ihave an apology to make to you. 6n authority of the city came in andlooked over my books. 7e discovered that the apartment you have wasformerly rented for less.2 Then he 'uoted the new rent !gure to me, which

was to the dollar the amount I had originally chosen to pay. It took methree months of being faithful to what I had imagined I was paying, eventhough during that time I was paying more.

(ut, since the reduced rent was retroactive to the day I moved in, I got itall back at the beginning of the third month.

I tell you imagination will not fail you if you are faithful. 0hat could I saywhen I was confronted with the negation of my assumption8 5othing. Isimply would not give up, and when the time was right my assumption

became a fact. I urge you to set your goal high.

6ssume the feeling it has been reached and sleep in that feeling. #ersistand I promise you that not one thing in this world can rob you of thatwhich you have assumed.

To what degree are you lost in your dream of success8 our world is your

dream pushed out. 0hen you can persuade yourself )99: that you aresuccessful, success is yours; ou must become so intense that youcompletely forget it was only a desire. ou must tame the wild, new stateyou have entered until its naturalness causes you to forget all else.

6ll that I behold, though it appears without, it is within me in my ownwonderful human imagination, of which this world of mortality is but ashadow.

0hen you believe God is your own wonderful loving human imagination, you are freed from the slavery of the belief in another.

5ot understanding the horrors of the world, man thinks he is damned andnot saved< .. in the world he is casting himself into the many parts to beplayed. 6t the moment he may be playing the part of a rich man orperhaps a poor man< still he is free to choose yet another state byapplying the precept, =0hatever you desire, believe that you have it andyou will.= ou are always moulding yourself into the image of what you arebeholding…

Take his wonderful precept and believe that you can have anything youdesire. There is no restriction placed upon the power of belief. There is noneed to !rst consult some holy man to see whether you should have it ornot. ou be the >udge. ?hoose your desire and, to the degree that you areself-persuaded that you have it, you will get it.

6nd, because we are all one, if it takes one million people to aid the birthof your assumption, they will do it, without their knowledge or consent, soyou don1t have to ask anyone to aid you. They will do it not even knowingthat they are. 6ll you are called upon to do is to assume that you have it.6n assumption, though false, if persisted in will harden into fact.

=6ll that you behold, though it appears without it is within, of which thisworld of mortality is but a shadow.= If you will but enter a state in yourimagination, and assume its truth, the outer world will respond to yourassumption, for it is your shadow, forever bearing witness to your innerimaginal activity.

ou do not will something to be so, but imagine it and become inwardlyconvinced that it is so. 6nd if, through your persistence, the worldresponds..

If your son wants to grow a beard, let him. If he doesn@t want to grow up,don@t try to give him all of your =good= advice< simply leave him alone, and in your own wonderful way imagine you are free of that state, for theworld belongs to you and it is always e"pressing your inner thoughts.

3ee a situation as something on the outside, and you become entangledin its shadows - for everyone who responds to your imaginal act is ashadow. 7ow can a shadow be causative in your world8 The moment yougive another the power of causation, you have transferred to him thepower that rightfully belongs to you.

4thers are only shadows, bearing witness to the activities taking place inyou. The world is a mirror, forever reAecting what you are doing withinyourself. If you know this, you are set free and a series of events willunfold within you to revealthe story of salvation.

ou can make your bed in heaven or in hell< but you will still be awarebecause God is there, for you can@t get away from being God.

That is the story of Bob. 7e did nothing that was wrong< Bob simplyimagined the wrong things. 7e blamed the devil, but the devil doesn@te"ist outside of man.

ou don@t have to go back and change anyone or anything, but envy noone. If someone wants a thousand or a hundred thousand acres, let him

have them. If you would like to live in a lovely apartment, claim you do. ou may think you can@t aCord the one you want, but that thought is animaginal act. I would suggest, instead of thinking you can@t aCord it, tosimply sleep in that apartment tonight mentally, accepting the fact thatyou have all the funds necessary to pay for it.

#ersist and the world will respond. ou will get the money needed to livethere. The world does not cause, it only responds to your imaginal acts, for only God acts and God is in you as your own wonderful humanimagination.

5ow, before you >udge it, try it. If you do, you cannot fail, and when youprove imagination in the testing, share the good news with your brothers. Tell everyone you meet how the world works. ou do not have to have aproper educational or social background to apply this principle< and youcannot fail, for an assumption, though false, if persisted in will harden intofact.

0hen you know what you want, assume you have it. (elieve yourassumption is true. Dook at your world mentally and see your ful!lleddesire. &o this and you are calling forth a response to your thoughts, and

in the not distant future you will !nd yourself physically occupying thestate imagined.

0hen you truly believe that imagining creates reality, you will know thereis no !ction. 7ow can there be !ction when imagining is forever creatingits reality8 ou may hear something you do not like, but becauseimagining creates reality what you heard was !rst imagined, or it could

not have happened. 0hen you revise the hearing by stopping the actionand rewriting the script you are walking on the water, imagining thereality you desire to hear and appear in your world.

I urge you now to use your imagination and walk on the water. #lant theseeds of desire in the depth of your soul and allow them to Aower onearth. If you do not see their harvest immediately, believe what you did,for it will come whether you recogni$e it or not. 6nd do not sin against the7oly Ghost by saying something is impossible, for God is your ownwonderful human imagination and nothing is impossible to imagine.

&on@t think of the reasons why you cannot have your desire< simply thinkyou already have it; If you tell yourself it is not possible, you are sinning …I know of no limitation to the power of God.

    I urge you to use your imagination for everything that is lovely and loving.I don@t care what your desire may be - your imagination will give it to you,for the human imagination is the divine body the world calls Besus.(ecause you can imagine and I can imagine, we are members of that onedivine body, and all things are possible to him. There is not a thingimpossible to God. 6ll you need do is imagine its ful!llment;

Eaith is an e"periment which ends as an e"perience. F"periment bybelieving you already have all that you desire, and you will have thee"perience.

(ut start now to plant something lovely - not only for yourself, but for yourneighbour, friend, or child. Eall in love with the idea that he is happy andsecure.

#rove your thoughts have creative power by consciously imagingconstantly, and walk on the water. 5o matter what happens in the course

of a day, revise it. Make the day conform to what you want it to be, andyou are walking on the water.

Eacts blind the eye of imagination. I have come to cure this blindness andshow you how to remove the acts of nature.

&o not let a day pass without practicing the art of walking on water. Fverytime you use your imagination lovingly on behalf of another, you aremediating God to the seeming other

7ow can we who were physically born by the grace of God, yet cannotmake one hair on our head or !ngernail grow, dare to put a limit on God@spower8

There is no need to beg or ask anyone for anything, for everything lives in

the human imagination, ready to appropriate and be made visible

Take me seriously. 0hen you know what you want in life, construct ascene which would imply your desire is ful!lled. 3ee it as clearly aspossible. Eeel its naturalness. F"periment until you know the scene and allit implies is real. 5ow, to the degree that you believe in its reality, youre"periment will become your e"perience. &o not stop there. eep onimagining and share your results with others. T

0hen you know who you really are, you will not envy anyone. 7ow couldyou, when you know you are God, and they are only yourself pushed out8If tomorrow, something comes into your life that is not to your liking, donot accept it, for this fact blinds the eye of imagination.

emove the blindness by asking yourself what you would like, in place ofwhat seems to be. Fnter into that thought. evel in it as though it werenot a fact.#ersuade yourself that it is. (elieve in its reality and it will become youre"perience.

If you have a goal, although it is unseen, it already e"ists. our normalmortal eye cannot see it, but by rearranging the structure of your mind, you can see it clearly. If, as the days follow one another, you remain loyalto this unseen reality, and your goal is reached, you will have discoveredthe mystery of creation.

Fternity e"ists and all things in eternity independent of your creative act. ou may continue to build only upon what your mortal eye sees, andperpetuate the same thing over and over again, remaining forever whereyou are. (ut if you know that all things e"ist, though unseen at themoment, and you have access to them through your imagination, you can

rearrange the pattern of your thinking and change your world byremaining loyal to your unseen construction. 6nd when it e"ternali$esitself by becoming a fact that you may share with others, then you willhave found the secret of creation, which was an act of faith.

5ow, can I remain faithful to that scene8 My faith is not going to give itreality, but my loyalty to the unseen reality will. I listen and rememberwhat I heard, and in the tomorrows I continue to remember. Then, in itsown appointed time, when that which I have been faithful to e"ternali$esitself, I will have found the great secret of creation.

    Disten closely to your invisible thoughts. 0hat do you hear8 0hat are yourwords implying8 That is their potency. 0hat do you want8 5ame it andrearrange the structure of your mind to imply you no longer desire it,because you already have it;

    #erhaps another has in>ured you or caused you grief. It doesn@t matterwhat has been done, when you know this law you can forgive anyone byrearranging the structure of your mind and set him free by imagining itnever happened;

ou see, there are two things that displease God. 4ne is the lack of faith in/I am he2, and the other is eating of the tree of knowledge of good andevil by using yourself as the criteria as to what is good and what is evil.

    Hnless you believe you are the seeming other who caused your grief, youwill continue to reproduce the same unhappiness and miss your mark inlife by dying in your sins. 3o, without faith it is impossible to pleaseyourself;

If you know someone who, when hearing of your good fortune would nowgo wild with envy, use her. 4r, if you know one who would re>oice becauseof your good fortune, take that image.

It@s your choice, but you must remain loyal to the unseen reality you haveconstructed. our faith will not give it reality, for faith is your loyalty to theunseen reality

If you know that faith is simply loyalty to unseen reality, you can constructa scene, remain loyal to it and harvest it, for everything is alreadycompleted.

    (ut until individual lman believes in his own wonderful humanimagination, God remains imprisoned within him. If you do not harvestGod@s promise it is only because you do not believe;

The world was constructed in the mind@s eye, out of things unseen by themortal eye, and made alive by faith. Fternity e"ists and all things in

eternity, independent of the creative act, which is the assumption ofunseen reality and loyalty to its assemblage.

In spite of denial by your senses and reason, if you will be faithful to yourunseen assumption, it will e"ternali$e itself. That is how all worlds come into being, but men do not understand this.3tructuring their world based upon the evidence of their senses, theycontinue to perpetuate that which they do not desire.

The ob>ective reality of this world is solely produced by the human

imagination, in which all things e"ist.

  • 8/19/2019 Neville MMM

    7/11

Tonight I hope to show you how to sub>ectively appropriate that whichalready e"ists in you, and turn it into an ob>ective fact. our life is nothingmore than the out picturing of your imaginal activity, for your imaginationful!lls itself in what your life becomes.

To say =I am going to be rich,= will not make it happen< you must believeriches in by claiming within yourself =I am rich.= ou must believe in thepresent tense, because the active, creative power that you are, is God.

7e is your awareness, and God alone acts and is. 7is name forever andever is =I am= therefore, he can@t say =I will be rich= or =I was rich= but =Iam rich;= ?laim what you want to be aware of here and now, and -although your reasonable mind denies it and your senses deny it - if youwill assume it, with feeling, your inward activity, established andperpetuated, will ob>ectify itself in the outside world - which is nothingmore than your imaginal activity, ob>ecti!ed. To attempt to change thecircumstances of your life before you change its imaginal activity,is to labor in vain.

(ut I tell you, if you want someone to change, you must change yourimaginal activity, for it is the one and only cause of your life. 6nd you canbelieve anything in if you will not accept the facts your senses dictate< fornothing is impossible to imagine, and imagining - persisted in andbelieved - will create its own reality.

5ow, all things e"ist in God, and he e"ists in you and you e"ist in him. our

eternal body is the human imagination, and that is God 7imself. ourimagination is an actual body in which everything is contained.

The story of Besus is a wonderful mystery that cannot be solved until youdiscover, from e"perience, that he is your own wonderful humanimagination.

This doesn@t mean that, >ust because you heard my vision you are going toen>oy wealth< you must apply what you heard, and remember when. If youwould say =I remember when I couldn@t aCord to spend +99 a month forrent,= you are implying you can well aCord it now. The words =I remember

when it was a struggle to live on my monthly income,= implies you havetranscended that limitation. ou can put yourself into any state byremembering when.

0hen I say all things e"ist in the human imagination, I mean in!nitestates< for everything possible for you to e"perience now, e"ists in you asa state of which you are its operant power. 4nly you can make a statebecome alive.

ou must enter a state and animate it in order for it to outpicture itself in

your world. ou may then go back to sleep and think the ob>ective fact ismore real than its sub>ective state into which you have entered< but may I

  • 8/19/2019 Neville MMM

    8/11

tell you all states e"ist in the imagination. 0hen a state is enteredsub>ectively, it becomes ob>ective in your vegetative world, where it willwa" and wane and disappear< but its eternal form will remain forever andcan be reanimated and brought back into being through the seed ofcontemplative thought. 3o I tell you the most creative thing in you is to

enter a state, and believe it into being.

5ow, causation is the assemblage of mental states, which occurringcreates that which the assemblage implies. Det us say that I have twofriends who would empathi$e with me Jnot sympathi$eK if they heard mygood news. I put them together and listen Jall in my imaginationK as theytalk about me and what has happened in my life. (eing true friends, I heartheir words of >oy and see their happiness reAected on their faces. Then Iallow myself to become visible to them and feel their handshake andembrace as I accept their congratulations as a fact. 5ow I have assembleda mental state, which occurring, created that which the assemblageimplied< therefore I am its cause. 6s I walk, !rmly believing in the realityof what I have done, and that imaginal act becomes a fact, I may 'uestionmyself as it how it came about. Then, remembering my imaginal act Iwould say =I did it.= If I did it, then did not God do it8 es, because Godand I are one /I am2.

ou may not be aware of who you are, where you are, or what you are< butyou do know that you are.

6ware of what your senses and reason dictate, youm ay believe that you

are limited, unwanted, ignored, and mistreated< and your world con!rmsyour belief in your imaginal activity. 6nd if you do not know that yourawareness is causing this mistreatment, you will blame everyone butyourself< yet I tell you the only cause of the phenomena of life is an imaginal activity. There is no other cause

Eirst, you must know what you want, then create an image that ful!lls it.0ould your friends know and talk about it8 Imagine they are with younow, discussing your ful!lled desire. ou could be at a cocktail or dinnerparty that is being given in your honor. 4r maybe it@s a little get-togetherover tea. ?reate a scene in your

mind@s eye and believe its reality in; That invisible state will produce theob>ective state you desire, for all ob>ective reality is solely produced byimagination.

The clothes you are now wearing were !rst imagined. The chair in whichyou are seated, the room that surrounds you - there isn@t a thing here thatwasn@t !rst imagined< so you can see that imagining creates reality.

If you don@t believe it, you are lost in a world of confusion.

The end of your >ourney is where your >ourney begins. 0hen you tell mewhat you want, do not try to tell me the means necessary to get it,

  • 8/19/2019 Neville MMM

    9/11

because neither you nor I know them. Bust tell me what you want that Imay hear you tell me that you have it. If you try to tell me how your desireis going to be ful!lled, I must !rst rub that thought out before I canreplace it with what you want to be.

Man insists on talking about his problems. He seems to enjoyrecounting them and cannot believe that all he needs to do isstate his desire clearly. If you believe that imagination createsreality, you will never allow yourself to dwell on your problems, for you will realize that as you do you perpetuate them all themore.

5ow, if you keep this law, you don@t have to broadcast what you want< yousimply assume that you have it, for - although your reasonable mind andouter senses deny it - if you persist in your assumption your desire willbecome your reality. There is no limit to your power of belief, and allthings are possible to him who believes. Bust imagine what an enormouspower that is. ou don@t have to be nice, good, or wise, for anything ispossible to you when you believe that what you are imagining is true. Thatis the way to success.

To believe your desire into being is to e"ercise the wonderful creativepower that you are.

nowing what you want, gear yourself towards it, for the act wascommitted in the wanting. Eaith must now be added, for without faith it is

impossible to please God. ?an you imagine a state and feel that yourimaginal act is now a fact8 It costs you nothing to imagine< in fact you areimagining every moment in time, but not consciously.

ut, may I tell you! if you use your creative power by imagining adesire is already ful"lled, when you get it, the circumstances willseem so natural that it will be easy to deny your imagination hadanything to do with it, and you could easily believe that it wouldhave happened anyway. ut if you do, you will have returned tosleep once again.

Eirst of all, most of us do not even reali$e our own harvest when itconfronts us. 6nd if we do remember that we once imagined it, reason willtell us it would have happened anyway. eason will remind you that youmet a man Jseemingly by accidentK at a cocktail party who was interestedin making money. 0hen he heard your idea, he sent you to see his friend, and look what happened - so really, it would have happened anyway.

The law is simple =6s you sow, so shall you reap.= It is the law of likebegets like. 6s you imagine, so shall your life become. nowing what youwant, assume the feeling that would be yours if you had it. #ersist in that

feeling, and in a way you do not know and could not devise, your desirewill become a fact.

  • 8/19/2019 Neville MMM

    10/11

Grandfather made his fortune by standing on an empty lot and saying tohimself =I remember when this was an empty lot.=

Then he would paint a beautiful word picture of the structure he desired

there. This is a wonderful techni'ue.

ou can remember when you were unknown, penniless, and ill, or a failure.emembering when you were, implies you are no longer that, and yourpower is in its implication.

Hse the law and it will take you from success to success, as you conceivesuccess to be. 6s far as I am concerned, success is to ful!ll the promise, and you cannot do that through the law. The promise is ful!lled throughfaith. 6re you holding true to the faith8 F"amine yourself to see if you are.I have told you an eternal story. (elieve it, but do not change it.

The story is this God became you that you may become God.

?losing your eyes against the facts of life, dare to assume you are seeingand hearing what you would see and hear if your desire were true. 5ow,tune it in as you would a radio. If, when you turned on the radio four or!ve stations are heard at the same time, you couldn1t stand the confusionand would turn the radio oC.

3o it is with your imagination - it must be !ne-tuned. 5ow no radio or TL is

comparable to you, for that which the mind creates cannot be greaterthan the mind who created it. 0e are ama$ed at the perfection of a littleinstrument called a radio because it can produce sound out of thenowhere, yet the mind that is so ama$ed isthe one who created it.

4ur radio or television can be carried around the house or yard with noconnection toa charge of electricity, yet the sound and picture come through perfect, and any station Jor channelK can be reached by merely a Aick of the wrist.6t this moment everything that is being broadcast or telecast in the world

is in this room, but we haven1t tuned it in.

5ow, you have an instrument in!nitely greater than any radio ortelevision, but it must be turned on and !ne tuned. Think of a friend whowould truly re>oice in your good fortune. Tune him in until his is the onlyvoice you can hear. Det him tell you of his thrill because of your goodfortune. Disten carefully until his voice is crystal clear and you can hearthe sentence you put upon that voice. Hnless you actually believe that /I am2 is the being you are seeking andpray only to him by e"ercising your human imagination, you will neverreach your desire, for awareness is the only power that can give it to you.

  • 8/19/2019 Neville MMM

    11/11

Tonight, ask yourself what you would be aware of hearing, seeing ande"periencing if your desire were now ful!lled. If what I tell you is true andyour imagination is the creator of all things, then you should be able toprove his power in the testing. I tell you there is no intermediary between

yourself and God. If you will but test this power within you, it will proveitself in performance.

0hen, I cannot say, for every imaginal act is like an egg and no two eggsJunless they are of the same speciesK have the same interval of time forhatching. The little bird comes out in three weeks, a sheep in !ve months,a horse in twelve months, and a human in nine months. our imaginal acthas its own appointed hour to ripen and Aower. If it seems long, wait - forit is sure and will not be late for itself.

6n imaginal act is a creative act, for the moment it is felt, the seed JorstateK is fertili$ed. It will take a certain length of time to be born, so starttoday by assuming you are the man Jor womanK you would like to be anlet the people in your mind1s eye reAect the truth of your assumption. (efaithful to your assumption. #ersist in this thought, for persistence is theway to bring your desire to pass. ou don1t persist through eCort or fear, rather knowing that your imaginal act is now a fact< wait for its birth, for itwill come.

0hen you become lost in the reasoning world, your imagination is not fedwith your desire, for reason negates its Aow.

#nowing what to do is not enough. #nowledge must be actedupon.

#rior to this vision I had discovered that my imagination was the only Godwho ever e"isted, yet in spite of this discovery I had not fed it. ather Icontinued to use the rational approach to life by planning my life on areasonable basis.

nowing of a power that did not need reason was not enough< I had toe"ercise this power within me. 6nd then I was determined to e"ercise my

imagination on behalf of myself and others. I saw my candle was lit andknew that from then on I would not let its light go out or get dim for lackof use.

If you are a musician and stop practicing for a week you will not be'uali!ed to give a concert. 4nly when you practice daily are you 'uali!ed.6nd so it is with your imagination. It must be e"ercised daily …
