Temporary Buildings

neptunus was founded more than 75 years ago; today we are known as an international specialist in the provision of high quality temporary structures for events and relocatable buildings for commerce and industry. Applications include sports halls, supermarkets, showrooms, exhibition halls and warehouses; in fact anywhere covered space is required.

with a head office in The netherlands and branches in the UK, Belgium, Germany, france, poland and Austria we employ 250 full­time perma­nent staff and have a proven track record in the design, manufacture and delivery of all types of temporary buildings.

neptunus ist in ganz europa aktiv und hat niederlassungen in deutschland, Belgien, frankreich, Österreich, england und polen. der firmensitz unseres familienbetriebs befindet sich in Kessel (nieder­lande). weltweit beschäftigt neptunus mehr als 250 mitarbeiter.

Anton eilers loved to take long walks on the beach. in 1937 he found a chest washed up on the shore which he took home. when he opened the chest he discovered it contained a tent, he erected it and held a party for his neighbours. This gave Anton the idea to set up a company to hire out the tent. The company was named after the trident which was on the chest: neptunus.

More than 75 years laternowadays we have developed a reputation for innovation and quality products. Uniquely, we are still a family company, now run by the third generation eilers family. Their ‘hands on’ approach to business brings out the best in our highly dedicated and motivated workforce. for over 75 years we have been providing space solutions for all sorts of applications.

The next generation

Anton eilers aimait faire de longues promenades sur la plage. en 1937, lors de l’une des randonnées le long de la mer, il tombe sur une caisse échouée sur le sable. il l’emporte chez lui où il l’ouvre sans difficulté pour y découvrir une tente. ni une, ni deux, il la monte et invite le quartier à faire la fête dans ce chapiteau. Un énorme succès. Ce qui donne l’idée à Anton de la mettre désormais en location. l’affaire est lancée : il baptise l’entreprise en référence au trident figurant sur le couvercle de la caisse : neptunus.

Anton eilers liebte ausgedehnte Strandwanderungen. 1937 entdeckte er am Strand eine angespülte Kiste. Zu Hause öffnete er die Kiste und stellte fest, dass sie ein Zelt enthielt. das Zelt wurde aufgebaut, und die nachbarschaft feierte ein fest darin. ein durchschlagender erfolg. dies brachte Anton auf die idee, das Zelt künftig zu vermieten. er benannte das Unternehmen nach dem dreizack, der auf dem deckel der Kiste abgebildet war: neptunus.

Anton eilers was een liefhebber van het maken van lange strand­wandelingen. in 1937 vond hij op het strand een aangespoelde kist. Thuisgekomen opende hij de kist: er bleek een tent in te zitten. eenmaal opgebouwd hield de buurt er een feest in. een doorslaand succes. dit bracht Anton op het idee er voortaan huur voor te vragen. Hij vernoemde het bedrijf naar de drietand die op het deksel van de kist stond: neptunus.

our buildings are readily available, quick to install and fully relocatable. They can be installed when you want and for as long as you want. with periods of use from a few months to 20 years our sustainable, energy efficient buildings are available to hire or purchase.

Buildings are dismantled and removed after use and the materials can be reused on other projects and are recyclable. you can benefit from all the characteristics of a permanent building, but without the risks and with optimum durability and flexibility.

Throughout europe our buildings are used for a wide range of appli­cations including retail outlets, airport terminals, sports and leisure facilities, theatres and showrooms. neptunus temporary buildings provide a versatile solution for facilities managers seeking temporary space – fast.

The dutch olympic Committee is one of the many organisations that trust neptunus to equip them with quality sports facilities that match their specific requirements.

The buildings are virtually indistinguishable from permanent sports halls and have fully insulated roof and wall panels to create the perfect acoustic environment for your activities.

our sports halls can be erected within days and can stay in place for months or even years. The flexibility of duration also makes neptunus structures well suited to sports establishments that require an interim solution whilst undergoing refurbishment or extension.

Aus diesem Grund hat sich der niederländische olympische Sport­verband noC*nSf für die Sporteinrichtungen von neptunus entschieden. wir bauen in Rekordzeit eine vollwertige temporäre Sporthalle, die ein paar Jahre oder sogar 20 Jahre lang ihren dienst tut. Schließlich können Sie ja nicht wissen ob ihre heutigen Bedürf nisse in 15 Jahren noch dieselben sind.
