For this week we did more games for story telling, a hanging garden, film showing, mountain hiking and photography and a day in the market. As you see, we did more outdoors these weeks, this is not actually intentional yet I guess this is due to the idea that we want to explore more things and places that is away from Enigmata, we want to have more fun yet educational activities and things that is worth remembering with the kids.

This week is really fun, productive and educational. It was fun for me because we want to different places with the kids, place where adventure and extra challenges awaits. For our communication development classes, we created more interesting and fun ways of story telling. So we created games where the children could participate well like a competition for sequencing a story and dance poetry. The dance poetry is a very good approached for me because the kids totally freak out and move in different shapes and lines to interpret well the written poetry ( it was funny since everybody on the stage close their eyes and only I was watching them since I am the one reading the poetry and I see how these kids including kuya Vince and Gretch do their crazy and funny steps.)For the outdoor activity, the mountain hiking is the best! It was actually an investigation about the flowers of Balbagon, in order to see all the flowers that grow there we had to climb to the hill to see all those flowers that they had. So the kids were on a line while we were hiking together with their bags, towels and water. It was a great adventure, we went to hills and hills, over those big grasses and under those great tress. When we reached to our destination, we had a picnic there. We put the mat on the grass and we were singing, eating and playing. We let the children took pictures f the flowers there and discussed about it. Then later, they wrote something on their notebooks about the flower that they choose to take a pic and something about what happen today. It was really a happy day for me. The kids were so happy that we were singing on our way up and on our way down and we had crazy dramas on our journey.

I learn the value of happiness this week. Well, from the past months, I barely have this thing..real happiness. Perhaps I was totally busy with my academics and preoccupied about our family problem that I barely experience this one. Im glad my summer brought me wonderful memories and happy days. Ill never forget this week. Happiness is really important in each of the human being because it is a part of a humanto be happy is what God wants us to be but we usually forgot to celebrates simple miracles and simple happiness because we want something else that is not really that necessary. I wish I will always remember these thoughts. It is nice when a person is happy, being happy makes you feel free and refreshed.

For the next week? Well, next week is my last week and the week of the production. I cant still picture out what the production will look like yet I know it would be fun to put up that thing. I hope the kids would be more cooperative and hope their numbers will increase this time..a lot of them had been absent kasi..hahaizt.. I know we will have busy days for the next weeks but I hope it would still be fun!
