What? Over 500 science & engineering organizations from all over the U.S. present themselves with a hands-on, fun science activity to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers

When? Saturday, September 23, 2010 & Sunday, September 24, 2010.

Where? The National Mall, NMNH, Mellon Auditorium, Woodrow Wilson Plaza, Pennsylvania Avenue, Freedom Plaza

Time? 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Code of ConductVolunteers serve as our ambassadors and are expected to

behave in a professional manner while volunteering No alcohol consumption or illegal drug use No inappropriate language Please avoid smoking while volunteering –

smoking is permitted during your breaks Please avoid confrontational behavior and remain

respectful Do not leave your position unless you arrange

coverage by another volunteer and check in with your supervisor

Please help clean-up – we will have trash cans and gloves for your use

* For security reasons we cannot accept lost items, bags, parcels, etc. No exceptions. Alert a uniformed police officer if you or a participant finds an unclaimed item.

Formal letters of recognition for community service will be distributed from the Mellon Auditorium Information Booth or the NM-4 Information Booth after your session ends.
