Location Arab world: 23 countries in North Africa and the Middle East. Population: over 350 million Primary language: Arabic
Religion Islam: over 1.2 billion adherents and is the second largest and
fastest growing religion in the world.
Beliefs Muslims believe in only one
God, called “Allah.” They believe Christ was a
great prophet who was born of a virgin and performed miracles.
They reject Jesus as the son of God, his death on the cross, and his resurrection.
Most Muslims have never read the Gospel. They respect Christian scriptures but
generally believe they have been corrupted. They believe the true revelation of God is
preserved only in their holy book, the Quran.

Pray for new believers to be courageous as they start their faith journey
Pray for believers who suffer persecution
Pray for Biblical and reproducing churches to be planted
Pray for satellite, radio, internet, and other effective media programs to touch Muslim hearts
Pray for Jesus to reveal himself in dreams and visions

Why the Arab world is important to CSPC Many of the governments restrict Christian evangelism and punish
conversion. Believers are isolated and can only meet in secret.
