What is theNAP?• Thenationaladaptationplan(NAP)processwasestablished
undertheCancunAdaptationFramework(2010).
• ItenablesPartiestoformulateandimplementnationaladaptationplans(NAPs)asameansofidentifyingmedium-andlong-termadaptationneedsanddevelopingandimplementingstrategiesandprogrammes toaddressthoseneeds.
• Itisacontinuous,progressiveanditerativeprocesswhichfollowscountry-driven,gender-sensitive,participatoryandfullytransparentapproach.
