Place yourself in situations that allow for organic conversations with people.

Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there to meet new people.

Get an outside life on your own.

Figure out what types of people you think you may want to hang around.

Know something about the nature of friendships.

Meet some people.

Get more out of your current contacts.

Once you know some people, build on this foundation.

Maintain your friendships.

Learn to be genuine.
