The Catechumens and Candidates have begun their

final preparation for the sacraments and for full

communion into the Catholic Church.

On Sunday, February 14th and Saturday, February 20th

at the 9:00 AM Mass, they celebrated the Rite of

Sending. On Saturday, February 20th at 1:30 PM, they

will participate in the Rite of Election at the Cathedral.

Please pray for them as they continue their journey.

First Communion

The children in our Parish will receive their First Holy Communion on Sunday, May 1st at 2:00 PM. They started preparing for this special day with a Rite of Enrollment at the 11:30 Mass on Sunday, January 31st. From now until May, each week we will ask you to pray for the children, and the pictures of 4 or 5 of them will be displayed on the bulletin board at the back of Church. Please take a moment to look at the pictures, and include those children in your prayers during the week. The pictures for this week are: Monroe Green, Estaban Soria, Gabi Gitlin, Gabriela Escabi

The Bereavement Support Ministry

will present a 7-week program of education and grief

support on “Healing after the Death of a Loved One “

beginning on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, in the Benvegnu

Center, in either the afternoon or evening depending on

the availability of the participants. There will be a fee of

$15.00 to cover the cost of materials. However, no one will

be refused participation for lack of funds. It is open to

anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one

through death and feels they need support after

experiencing the normal grieving process. Please call prior

to March 18th, so we may talk with you regarding your loss.
