Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to present my resume for you to review as my education and experience

make me a fitting candidate for your organization. I am a board certified behavior analyst

and hold a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in autism. Some

of my research was presented at 2015 NJABA and ABAI on comparing prompts for teaching

a long response chain to an adolescent with autism. I have a passion for research and hope to

continue to explore this, and other topics related to improving effectiveness, efficiency, and

social acceptability of care for individuals with learning disabilities.

Much of my experience is transferable, specifically in developing behavior

intervention plans, conducting functional assessments, and training staff on facilitating skill

acquisition and behavior reduction programs for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum

disorders, ages 5-21. My most recent position as a lead teacher and job coach for 16-21 year

olds provides daily opportunities to shine as a leader and use my skills as a behavior analyst

to make meaningful behavioral changes. My drive to provide for the diverse needs of

children on the spectrum can been seen in my fundraising efforts that resulted in a $25,000

donation to the NHS Autism School for a playground to encourage cooperative play and

physical fitness during recess.

Given the opportunity, I am confident that my education, ambition, and strong

character will be an asset to your organization. I am a hard working leader eager to

contribute my knowledge to your organization but also a team player that can follow

directives at appropriate times. Below is my resume for your review as well as my contact

information where you can reach me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Margaret Riley, MA, BCBA
