Step 21. Place the plastic tubing on a flat surface. 2. Unroll about 40 cm of the tube.3. Using figure 2.3 and the data table as a
guide, measure and mark on the tubing the approximate length of each organ of the tube. The opening represents the mouth. Use masking tape to record measurement and labeled organ.
4. Start at the opening (the mouth) and measure 11 cm down from the opening.
5. Label on the masking tape11 cm as the end of mouth.
Step 2 cont.
1. From the 11 cm mark, measure out 25 cm.
2. Continue measuring and marking and writing down each organ on the masking tape until you reach the end opening of the tube.
3. This is the anus4. Double check your measurements to
make sure they are correct. 5. Cut off any extra tubing.
