GENERAL NOTES

Situation Mount St Bernard Abbey has excellent national road access and lies within close proximity of the M1 at Junction 23 Shepshed. From the centre of Shepshed on the M512 Ashby Road-(do not take the B591 towards Coalville.) Take Iveshead Road towards Coalville and Mount St. Bernard Abbey. Travel past the Jolly Farmers Public House, out of the built up area and over the crown of the hill. Continue down the dip and then uphill. Travelling up Abbey Road, turn right into Oaks Road signed St Joseph’s Tearoom. Travel ½ a mile passing the Monastery sign and take the first entrance on the left. Continue up the drive and bear left signed Farm & Builders Yard. Travel to the far corner of the hard core car park and through the galvanised gate with the car park lying straight ahead.

Conditions of Sale – Bagshaws usual farm sale conditions of sale shall apply at this sale, copies of which are available from the High Street offices or the on site sale office.

Cash – Under the money laundering regulations the auctioneers are unable to accept cash in sums greater than €15,000 (or its Sterling equivalent). Please contact the auctioneers to discuss methods of cash payment prior to the sale.

Export Purchasers – All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling (£).

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

Buyers Premium – No buyers premium will be payable at this sale.

Telehandler Loading Facilities – Telehandler loading facilities will be available on site up until approximately 5.00pm on sale day.

FOREWORD This genuine dispersal at Mount St Bernard Abbey Farm arises as a result of the farm now being let by the Monastery agents and all locals will know that all cattle from the farm have been dispersed and sold. There are a small range of tractors together with telehandler and attachments and in addition there are various grassland and arable implements and livestock related items some of which have undertaken very little work. The Teagle Mounted Topper 8 was purchased in 2014 and has undertaken virtually no work together with the Teagle Tomahawk 8100 trailed bedding machine which is also in excellent order. In addition to a full range of gates, troughs and livestock equipment there are also various insitu specialist dairy items including cream separators, butter churners etc. Purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this very genuine dispersal in quite a unique location.
