    Receiving Support from DMG MORI

Remote alarm monitoring support by the Service Center

If an alarm is generated at a machine, the alarm is transmitted to the DMG MORI Service Center to provide remote maintenance service by a service member.

Machine diagnosis by the Service Center DMG MORIs service member remotely diagnoses the machine on occurrence of a machine alarm and takes the necessary steps for recovery.

Downloading 3D tool models for 3D interference checking

Precision tool model data can be downloaded directly to the machine from the tool model download web page inside DMG MORI.

    Managing Machine Operation

Machine operation management function Information on the operating status of machines can be checked from a PC at any time. This enables centralized management of machine operating statuses.

Notifications by e-mail Our Service Center can send alarms or completion notifications by e-mail to your PC or mobile phone.

Periodic reports Reports on operating rates, production results, alarm history, and other operating information can be sent out regularly.

Measurement input interface Automatically collects in-machine measurement data stored in macro variables.

Statistical processingData is stored in a server, statistically processed, and displayed as a graph. The system reports maximum, minimum, and average values plus Cp and Cpk for a measurement point. This provides users with valuable quality control information.

Improving Efficiency by Connecting the Factory and Office

Data input/output Programming data can be input/output between an office PC and a machine.

In-machine data backup Data files in the machines can be backed up to the hard disk of the PC.

Remote operation and monitoring MAPPS screens can be displayed and operated remotely on a PC at the office.

Sending messages to the machine This function enables you to send simple messages to another machine.

    Central Tool Management

The tool management system MCC-TMS centrally manages tool-related data and components, contributing to reducing setup times and errors.

1 Depending on the network configuration, the type (straight or crossover) of the required cables may vary. When connecting a PC directly to a machine without using a hub in between, use a crossover cable.
