Annie was born in Portland, Oregon and grew up in Dayton, Oregon. She has been married for 16 years to her husband Josh and has two children, a son age 12 and a daughter age 10. They also have four milking goats, 11 chickens, one dog, and one cat! When asked about her family, Annie said, “We love to have adventures together. Sometimes just getting together is an adventure!” When not working, Annie says, “I love chocolate, hiking, and biking.”

Annie has been a part of the EHL community since January 2016. She works as an Administrative Assistant and IT Help Desk Support in the main office. When asked why she likes working at EHL, Annie replied, “Everyone here cares. It is super refreshing to work for awesome residents and with the most caring and passionate co-workers.” Annie is known for always having an upbeat attitude and a friendly smile!

We are pleased to announce that Annie is our November 2016 Employee of the Month!

Thank you, Annie, for your hard work, your dedication, and for being a part of our EHL team!

Ginny came to EHL in April of 2014. Alexis, Resident Coordinator in our Cascade Home, commented that, “Ginny was very special to us at the Cascade Home. Her smile could make anyone’s day! She will be greatly missed and her memory forever cherished.” Ginny passed away at the age of 78.

Jim came to EHL in August of 2016. Sharon, Resident Coordinator in our Diamond Peak Home, commented that, “Although we did not get to have Jim very long, he was a joy to all. He loved talking about his military life. He always thanked everyone that helped him. He was a gentle soul and we will miss him.” Jim passed away at the age of 90.

In RemembranceMt. Hood resident Gerry likes to work in the garden. His family wanted him to be able to continue his love of gardening here at EHL, so they recently brought him this delightful Red Gardening Wagon. He is able to take it out to the garden with his rake and other tools and then bring it back in when he’s done. The wagon can convert to a bench when needed, and folds up compactly for storage.

We think it’s just great, and Gerry loves showing it to everyone!
