Peacein AUGUSTDiscipling The Church To Meet Needs...look inside to see how >>

WELCOME TOPeace...Order of ServiceEnter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him,and bless His name.

    Psalms 100:4

The worship service at Peace begins with anOpening Prayerof thanksgiving that sets thetone forPraise and Worship . The choir typically sings the latest gospel praise songs. However, they will also occasionally go old school with some foot stomping hymns. The

ministerial staff will thenRecognize the Visitors and briey share theAnnouncements

for the week. First time visitors will receive a visitors DVD that has more information on thechurch, a welcome message from our pastor, a sample sermon and video clips from various

Peace events. Worship will continue with members giving theirTithes and Offerings. Thechoir then offers up more praise throughSong as the congregation prepares their hearts forthe Word. TheSermons are life application, biblically based teachings that are oftentimesillustrated through impromptu demonstrations and skits. Pastor Barnette can have you

laughing, crying, and repenting all in the span of 30 minutes. At the end of the Sermon, the

congregation will be asked to make aDecision for Salvationfor those who want to givetheir lives to Christ, Rededicationfor those who want to recommit their lives to Christ, and/orAfliationfor those who want to join the family of Peace. The service will conclude with theBenediction, the nal blessing, so please do not exit the sanctuary until the closing prayer isgiven.
