4) TRANSPONDERS

For2010,CMRCwillcontinuetousetheAMBelectricscoringsystemasemployedthroughoutthe2009

season. Transpondersaremountedbehindthenumberplateoneitherforktube,facingupwards.

Transpondersmustbewornbytheparticipatingridersatalltimeswhiletheriderisonthetrack. Any

riderfoundtonothavetheirtransponderontheirbikeduringthedesignatedtimeswillbeblackflagged

andsubjecttoa$50fine.

In2010,participantsintheWomensNationalswillberequiredtowearthetranspondersforall

eastern/westernroundsexcludingWalton.

Itismandatoryforteamstopurchasetransponders(iftheyhavenotalreadydoneso). Teamsarealso

responsiblefor

the

adequate

charging

of

the

transponder

prior

to

their

riders

participating

in

the

Nationalweekend.

RentalInfo: TranspondersareavailableforrentatallnineroundsoftheNationalsduringthe

designatedsigninperiods. Allparticipantsintendingtorentatranspondermustfilloutacreditcard

authorizationform(onsite)toleaveinexchangeforthetransponder. Anytranspondersnotreturned

motorcyclebrand,model,racenumberandlastsixdigitsofthemachinesserialnumberareto

berecordedandtakentothedesignatedtechinspectionarea.

2) Riders/mechanicsaretoreporttothetechinspectionareawiththeirrecordedinformationof

themachine,plustheirjersey/chestprotectorwithmatchingnumberstothatoftheir

motorcycle.

3) Themotorcycleframewillbetaggedwithanumberedstickerforidentification.Thetagged

numberwillberecordedwiththeframenumber,andconfirmationoftheframenumberwillbe

verified.

4) ACMRCtechstickerwillbeplacedontothefrontnumberplate.

5) Techstickerswillnotbeissuedifthefollowingrequirementsarenotmet:

a)Techsheetisnotpresentedtothetechinspector.

b)Failuretoproducejersey/chestprotectorwithpropernameandnumbers.

qualifybythetimedqualifyingsessionstodeterminethestagingorderofSundaysfirstmoto.

Eachclasswillbedividedintotwogroupsfora15minute,timedqualifier.Thetop38riderswithfastest

timeswillbeautomaticallyseededintothemainmotosandwillbestagedaccordingtotheirtimes.The

remainingriderswillbeallowedanadditional10minutesintheirrespectivelastchancequalifier.The

toptwofinishingtimesforeachclassintheLCQwillbeassignedthe39thand40thstartingpositions.

RegardlessofthetoptwofastesttimesfromtheLCQ,thoseriderswilloccupythelasttwostarting

positions.

Laptimesarecalculatedatthetiminglooplocatedatthefinishlinefromthebeginningofonelaptothe

endofthesamelap.

Anyrider(s)cuttingthecourseduringtheTimedQualifiersinanattempttoimprovetheirlaptimeswill

bedisqualifiedfromtheQualifierandmayonlyqualifythroughtheLCQ.Ifthesameattemptismadein

theLCQtheriderwillbedisqualifiedfromtheclass.

Nopointswillbeawardedforqualifyingfinishes.

Allridersmustbeginthequalifyingperiodatthestartinglineandrideinthedirectionofthetrack.Any
