Class of 2017 – Attached you will find a listing of scholarships, academic awards and acceptance into special

programs, many of which were announced during graduation. Congratulations to our Class of 2017 on their many

achievements! Once again, Slade students Rise Above!!

School Supplies for the 2017-2018 school year: Please be on the look-out for the school supplies packet list,

which will be posted in July on our website. Don’t forget - As an added convenience to parents this year, you can

charge the cost of the required student supply packet through your FACTS account for payment on August 1,

2017. This will provide enough time for the payment to be processed prior to the packet pick-up days scheduled

for later in August. If you would like to make other arrangements for payment of the required packet, you must

contact Mrs. Kathie Sullivan at [email protected] by July 15, 2017.

The optional supply packets for grades 4-8 will still be available for purchase by cash or check during the packet

pick-up days in August. You can charge the cost of the optional packet to your FACTS account as well. Just let

Mrs. Sullivan know by July 15, 2017. The cost will then be added with the cost of the required packet to your

FACTS account for payment on August 1, 2017.

Financial Aid Opportunity – The Maryland Broadening Options and Opportunities for Students Today

(BOOST) Scholarship Program is providing nearly $6 million in financial aid for the upcoming school year.
